Warning ending spoiler The mom has a drinking problem( that's why there's bottles everywhere) when the screen shakes that's the dad wanting to take you so the mom can get help the shadowy figure is the mom when she gets drunk and it scares you and Teddy is a real stuffed animal bear but it can't actually talk and move that's just your imagination because you need a friend

I think when you hug the teddy, I think it's not just making you see easier, but the light scares away the monster too.

i fell of my seat when i saw the babys shadow and just watched when i saw the monster

From what ive seen so far i think the mother is addicted to alcohol (hence the bottles) and the child is a victim of abuse (the black figure is a representation of the mother, which constantly is attacking the child.) Teddy even said she seems so desperate and sad. That most likely means the mother drinks to forget.

I think the tree woman is his mom when she is sad,desperate,and drunk.

Hey Dan in hello neighbor in the basement around the edge of the entrance inside there is an umbrella grab the umbrella and jump towards the ledge then you will glide to another platform on that platform you must jump down near the neighbor there is a generator turn it on then go through the gate then jump up and go through the next gate after that you need to throw something toward a switch then get your umbrella and jump then run through the door on your left and you'll unlock the boss fight the giant neighbor good luck.
