The NY vs Chi issue isn’t that hard. BC is a 1 in a million content creator. He also then poached the top talent in NY and brought them to chicago. Of course, that combo led to this.

Their problem is no one is doing their thing the best. No one cares about NY sports or the betting guys (except frank and it’s not Mets season). You have grace and bri but they don’t need you. So many people doing the same content but not as good

I think also (unpopular opinion) Kevin can be a fantastic content creator, but what he does best is curating Barstool as a reality TV show. KFC Radio is fucking horrible, but people tuned in because he always had a great pulse on what was going on in the office (I’d assume his best episodes came when barstool was making headlines). So, Dan not only took the best talent (and essentially took Barstool SPORTS to Chicago), but he took (a) most of the personalities that really butted heads with the pop culture content creators that stayed in NY causing the drama, and (b) he took a lot of the complementary characters that elevated guys like Joey and Tommy on Stool Scenes (like Nick & KB). NY just won’t work because they depended so much on the creators that left.

@@aleclacorazza9144 I would totally agree to this, Infact I'd argue that this exact dynamic existed in NYC. The Chitown team, and banner NYC creators (CITO, KFC, O&A, Plan Bri) have always had their established "things". Everyone else has always been supplementary, whether it's a pop into another show, stool scenes, or being great on the blog. Those without established shows, in NYC stand out more, because Chicago is ALL established content creators, who not only do, but they do together. There are less opportunities for NYC supplementary characters, to pop into other shows, and so they have less exposure. It's not to say that what they do via blogs, isn't work. I personally think there's so much opportunity for NYC peeps to zoom into some Chitown content. If there's a long form stream happening (golf simulator, basketball free throws) make yourself part of the action, zoom in and add your commentary. Set yourself up to do remote interviews. Zoom into The Yak. Do blog pieces that offer commentary on Chicago content, without tearing the Chicago office down. Everything they were a part of, in NYC, continue to make themselves a part of it, from NYC. If they aren't part of content, it's up to Dave to decide if their blogging efforts, are worth what he pays them. If Dave feels it is, noone should say anything, it's his pirate ship. If Dave feels it's not, the supplementary NYC characters have to accept that business decision and move on.

I wish Kevin would listen to what Dante’s saying about everyone being motivated differently. If Kevin feels like motivating people isn’t his problem, I totally get that, but he complains that people don’t buy in when real leaders get people to buy in. Big Cat clearly leads by example and that’s how he has created a new environment.

Jackie is describing codependency. Auntie Whitney, talks about this a lot, and how it's commonly found, in alcoholic homes. It's also found, in the homes of narcisistic, or emotionally insupportive, or emotionally unavailable parents. Feits DEFINITELY displays codependent behaviours. We love Polly Feitelberg, but I think we can all agree, that some of her mothering techniques (feeding John Henry poisonous meat, and leaving him in the hospital alone, OVER CHRISTMAS, when he got food poisoning) might not have been the most supportive 🤣

I read the comments before watching the video, and I was 100% prepared for another "not my problem" from KFC, but he actually nailed it. Big Cat took a lot of on screen talent and built a fantasy factory, no sh!t that content is going to seem fun. The people that chose not to go to Chicago are quickly realizing they stayed to make a name for themselves in NY, their content is not as good as they thought, and now they are complaining and aren't willing to put in the work. If they were better at their job, people would still tune in to their content. KFC may not be a leader, but he's got the NY office pegged for what it actually is. Barstool Comedy was a good idea, but the "I thought this was Barstool Sports" crowd is loud. NY needs to pivot, and I don't think the people are willing to change.

Here’s like my biggest issue tho with the “barstool sports- Chicago, Barstool comedy- NYC” stuff… theirs funny people in Chicago (Nick KB) and theirs “sports” people in NYC (Big Ev, Klemmer, Marty, etc)… basically saying Chicago is the sports brand (when they have some of the funniest people) and saying NYC isn’t basically undermines all the sports content coming outta NYC (pick central is trash). It sounds nice to say but really it just further hurts the NYC brand. Because they’re really not all that funny…

But Chicago is still putting out good content every day. Yak, Mostly Sports, Anus, the Mid show stuff is decent these days, even Jerry after Dark has its moments, and that’s not counting PMT. To be fair, I have no idea what guys like Nicky Smokes do all day, but I think it’s safe to say 75% of the best barstool content is coming out of Chicago.

Yea I use to love KFC radio but this ain’t it… Kevin has no pulse on anything. I tried to watch but the only thing interesting was the Dante NYC/Chi stuff but Kevin and Feitz just don’t get it. Like at all. It’s has nothing to do with being the new place. Plus their KFC brand is dyin so they might need to step it up and stop being so outta touch. Just my opinion, Im definitely the only one hatin…..

Chicago v NYC is simple it’s Big Cat and the yak crew plus Nicky Smokes that’s it . The rest of Chicago crew is just like NYC nothing special it’s not like they’re all stars over there. NYC needs to clean house minus a few people the majority of the “talent” isn’t well liked and don’t really have anything people are excited about, KFC needs to find hungry funny creators and bring them in. Also utilize the talent that’s there better have SAS Rone Fites Joey maybe Francis doing more in the office they’re the talent people still care about in NYC build around them.

FRANK THE TANK.. came into the company from a cruddy Court Reporter Goverment Jobe. He didn't complain about what how much he was paid. He didn't take takes off. He didn't ask for direction on what content to make. He just made content. He showed up to live streams. He is the ONE guy in the NY office who dave says, Let him be him. He can do if 4 ever. He is making more now than when he got hired full time. He makes even more on cameo. Sports Celeberties WANT TO HANG WITH HIM. The OTHERS all fit the same profile. College-educated people whose first job was working for Barstool. They are entitled. They are lazy, and they are talentless boors. The ones who weren’t got cherry picked by Big Cat for his FUN FACTORY PROJECT in Chicago. KFC is grandfathered in. CHicks in the Office Makes $$ Brianna Chicken Fry they are the only things in the NYC office other than Frank that is worth a dam. Look at Tommy Smokes Content, it's terrible. People tell me that lil Sas has talent, but he bitches too much about making $$. Roen has Pat Bev and only stays because I’m sure his wife doesn’t want to move to Chicago. He really isn’t part of the NYC office. Same with Glenny Balls, he has the Sundea Converstaion, which is on another level than almost everybody other than Dan and Dave in Barstool.
