In my opinion, Dante and Vergil teaming up is one of my favorite parts about DMC as a whole.

With them at their current levels, I'd reckon the game would be over in thirty minutes, max. I don't think there's any enemy that can challenge them, much less beat them, at this point. Urizen was the strongest being in the entire franchise, only surpassed by Sin Dante. I think either one of them could solo Mundus in his prime at this point.

i think "urizen" came from "your reason" because V said to dante, vergil was "his reason" This may be true as when Nero confronts vergil the 2nd time he said "i am without a name" meaning V gave the "urizen" name himself

As much as I loved this game, I liked the story in Devil May Cry 3 better for some reason. And as much I like Nero, I really hope they keep Dante as the primary protagonist of the series if they ever do make DMC 6.

Nah id rather not see Dante as the protag in the next DMC tbh.. not that i dont like him.. Hell Dante will be forever the OG dante that we love and now.. But considering how his life been through, Vergil Was the only Living and Closes Family He knew even before Nero came to life.... So the End of DMC 5 is for me saying Finally Dante should have been with vergil till the very bitter end.. as brothers... and a little comfort knowing Vergil has Dante Beside not as an Enemy.. But a rival and brother this time around.. and for Dante being at a mutal feeling....

What I hope is that Dante and Vergil are both playable in DMC6. Maybe Vergil would be an AI controlled partner akin to Sheva from RE5. Only way better.

I hope in the next game vergil gets to be playable as part of the story. he's awesome and it kinda sucks that he's always tacked on as a way to sell the "special editions" and doesn't really get any new story cutscenes with it. also, give him a regular devil trigger that looks like the yamato spectre that nero has during his semi devil trigger in DMC 4.

DMC3´s team is awesome and all. but if you look closley, Vergil only teamed up with Dante, just to get the amulet and Force Edge. So, he just used Dante to get his goal.

Dante saying "and someone needs to keep an eye on you" might just be an off comment but in-game lore he already defeated Vergil thrice now and everytime he just get corrupted in the underworld. But together he'll be there to prevent it from happening again.

It's really sudden with no build up. I mean, I like the idea of them finally no longer trying to kill each other (mainly because they no longer have a critical reason to now that they're mature), but I would have liked a little more build up to this turn of events. But I will say that it's less jarring than Nero's sudden Devil Trigger, which is a tad more anticlimactic than I would have anticipated.

Personally, the build up came from V, who spent most of time helping Dante and overall being a nice person. Spending time as a human with no power humbled him to realize what he did wrong and how far he went in his quest of power. It can be seen how his experiences as V touched him, being overall kinder and not so stoic

@@niccologomez5199 yeah, V was the human side of Vergil after all, and throughout the game we can see how much he regrets dividing himself, and once he was recompleted i guess he adquired all V's memories, but i guess it was too late to back up, so he challenged Dante to a Fight.

Cool, pero hubiese sido demasiado Cringe y Cliché, y en mi parecer hubiese arruinado todo lo que sigue a DMC3... digo, con Dante y Vergil el infierno basicamente no tiene oportunidades.
