It's so weird how DMC4's Lady took after DMC3's Lady. But DMC5's Lady takes after the anime version's sorta-psycho Lady. Which actually is more fitting to her character since her bad relationship with her father since childhood was her trauma. Still, it's jarring to see DMC4 Lady change into DMC5 Lady.

I was really shipping Dante x Lady DAMN. I really hope that in the new anime of Devil May Cry, that is on the works right know, is slightly different from the games.

For a mere human, Lady really is impressive for keeping up with Dante the same devil hunter who could shoot down bullets and slice them mid air.

I'd like to share my thoughts, if I may: This was my first dmc game, but I didn't really understood him the first time, I only saw him as this very over the top dude with sick skills. I watched a couple streamers playing dmc games, and I noticed something, a lot of them seems to misunderstood Dante's character just like I was. Only when I played dmc 5 that something clicked about who he really is, and since then, when I looked back at dmc 3-5, I appreciate him even more. He can easily be a misunderstood character, maybe because of his laid back personality and his tendency to playfully downplay the people around him makes him look like a jerk. Also the fact that he was always paired with people that are very vocal about how they feel, like Lady, Nero, and Vergil, makes it harder for people to pay attention to who Dante is. He sure got his own way on doing things and telling people how he feels. I feel like he's the type to just laugh off his personal feelings/issues because he understood that complaining about it doesn't change what he supposed to do. He always have soft spot for Vergil, he think he's prepared to kill him even though not really, maybe that's why he still try to convince Vergil to stop being so power hungry, he just want his brother back, and he feels like he's the only one responsible for his brother's action, because he's the only one Vergil got left, and the only one who cares, really. He sure got his own way to protect something he cares about too. He's someone that completely aware about what he and the people around him are capable of, and he tend to sympathize with them, such as Nero and Lady. He doesn't let lady to go and fight her father because he knew she won't survive, he can just let her go and try, but he don't want to take that risk, but she can deal with her father after Dante did the heavy lifting. Same goes for Nero, in dmc 4, Dante only want Yamato, at first he wasn't convinced that Nero can handle it, but he was convinced after a couple fights with Nero, that's why he let Nero keep the Yamato and he's willingly let Nero do the fightings, because he measured Nero up, and he know he's strong enough to fight on his own. He doesn't let Nero fight Vergil in dmc 5 not because Nero's not strong enough, but because he doesn't want Nero to bear the burden of killing his own father, plus the fact that he's still think that Vergil is his responsibility alone, that's why he kept on and on about taking down Urizen was his gig and keep Nero out if it, dude just want to protect his nephew. Shit this is a long one, lol.
