Love the start of the ABC book. Terry Pratchett touched on that exact subject with "Where's My Cow?" "But his father wonders why it is full of moo-cows and baa-lambs when Young Sam will only ever see them cooked on a plate. He can think of a more useful book for a boy who lives in a city. So Sam Vimes starts adapting the story. A story with streets, not fields. A book with rogues and villains. A book about the place where he’ll grow up."

Hahahaha ah 33 year old dad here the "bump bump flabble wabble" down the stairs leads to a thrown out back. Tried it with my 2 year old the other day he laughed all the way down and I thought I died at least 3 times

You know what. I'm going to use the stairs exactly like that the next time I'm in work. They will only think "Oh well, it looks like John has finally snapped" then I'd probably get some paid time off.
