Those poor boys. They are so precious and they have so much to give. Too many precious birds that like have such a rough life and I feel so bad for them. They deserve the absolute best in this world.

This video touched my heart & made me cry so hard to see their walking on nubs! How heartbreaking 💔 I couldn't imagine my parrot in that condition!! However God blessed these 2 georgous parrots 🦜 with YOU! I thank God that you came into their little lives & not only gave them a GOOD HOME, BUT...UNCONDITIONAL LOVE PERIOD!!! If it wasn't for ur kindred heart, who knows where they would be today or even the life quality they would have!!!! Ty soooo much for taking them in & giving them exactly what they needed in life!!! Your a good person!! Ty again!!!

They are absolutely adorable. So happy they have a wonderful home and humans to love them. I just lost my 40 year old CAG to a stroke, He had been wild caught and abused when he came to me back in 1985. Most folks can't imagine 38 years with an African Grey; it was a lifetime, but it ended far too soon. Take extra good care of your little balls of grey feathers, and I wish you a beautiful life time together.

African Grey parrots are such rewarding pets. The biggest problem is that they are so intelligent that they get bored easily, and then they get stressed out because of boredom. The best life those birds could live would be by remaining together. I'm really happy that both were rescued together, because that is the most comfortable life for them. Thank you to the rescuer for taking both parrots together. They would have been lonely and bored and stressed out if they were separated. Growing up, we had an African Grey in the house. Sadly, my (single) mother no longer had time to take the parrot out of the cage and spend time with it during and after pregnancy. So the parrot grew bored and angry, and became unsafe to let out of it's cage (400psi bite can break bones) around children. We had the Grey for many years, but she was eventually given to a woman who ran a bird sanctuary (with huge outdoor enclosures) so that the bird could have a better life and enjoy a cage-free existence. That bird could talk to clearly. It was a lot of fun, but you could tell it's life was monotonous. Giving it away was the right thing for parrot.

Thank you for taking care of them, u can also give them toys and teach them to talk when they are not babies anymore! They are the best talkers, put on a screening with talking Grey afrikanska and they will learn! Sending lots of love

What a gorgeous little pair - their feet are so cute although so tragic how they lost their toes. They seem to cope fine but then they obviously found the perfect loving family for them - wishing you all a very long life of health & happiness

Pretty sure from 30+ years of experience, Sammy is a boy and Thumper looks like a little girl. She is very light silver, and that means girl (usually).

I'm sorry to ask, but why would the parents do that? Were they in a situation that was so stressful that they abused their own offspring? These birds are some of the smartest in the world and you gave them a beautiful, safe and loving life.
