But in this video we are going to go over the TOP 5 WORST Figures of 2023!! We had a TON of Great releases in 2023, but we also had some REALLY Bad figyures too. Hope you enjoy the video

Griffith is so bad, he’s honestly my worst figure in my ENTIRE collection. And for the same price Figma gives you an actual articulated horse

Yea i know! Say Griffith was by himself he’d probably be around $80-$85 and the figures was around $130-$140 so they charged an additional $40-$50 for that horse 😒 Griffith himself wasn’t as bad, especially compared to guts but still had some issues

Guts really was a heartbreaking figure. One of my most anticipated figures of all time. Its honestly disrespectful to berserk. Ugh it could have been so good. They better have a whole different design team and do an even better guts with a black swordsman arc guts. That full berserker armor guts better be fixed too

I'm so happy I canceled my orders for the berzerk figures, on a positive note marvel select killed it with their figures, quality and price is in my opinion unbeatable

Wow, the Green Goblin looks almost like a bootleg and the proportions on Guts are hilarious. Those arms look abnormally long. Great list! It's a shame that it's made of broken dreams haha.

SHF is on everybodys list with a whole bunch of different figures. Say what u want about Hasbro but I don't think I have ever had a figure break on me, so there 's that.

SHF has had A LOT of Ls this year. I feel like they're tackling waaaay too many properties all at once and need to slow down a bit. At the very least, they've had bangers in the DBZ, Naruto, JJK and Chainsaw Man lines. And Kamen Rider remains great as always.

Yea, they had some Really bad L’s this year, but also had some huge W’s too and I agree! They’re either doing too much or have teams who don’t know what they’re really doing with some of the newer lines

@DareDevil19 Agreed! I'd like to see Tamashii be a lot more consistent with their QC and engineering going forward. They have some great properties under their belt with huge potential, they just need to make sure they reach that potential.

Tamashii Nations dropped amazing figures in 2023, but I feel they did too many, and a lot of them suffered for it like the ones on your list and others you didn't mention. Future Trunks with loose legs and arms. Their version of Michael Keaton Batman, bad articulation, and horrible cape once again. I'm sure there's more, but I still love my SHF collection. 😅

Yea, that definitely could be the reason or they hired new people who never worked on figure lines and they don’t know what they’re really doing. Same I still love some lines that they’re absolutely killing it with like JJK, Naruto and others

Thank you for the refreshingly honest and harsh views on these. I swore off ShF after the Mando and Boba from S2 they released with downgrades and crappy quality. They’ll turn around and say “here’s a v2 and look we listened!” Which is BS because they just want us to double dip

No problem. Yea that always happens with SHF. I didn’t get that mando or boba fett cause I preordered the Mafex versions, but that’s a shame they downgraded

My personal most disappointing was the figma Doom Slayer. In theory, it should have been the homerun considering McFarlane Toys couldn't do the character justice. In terms of proportions, it's all over the place. Hip joints can be loose (mine is the case on the right leg), the shoulder joints make no sense, hands are too small and "muh gaps" are way too difficult to mask regardless of photography. That's outside of many people reporting breakage. When put next to the Samus Aran that just came out, it's night and day.

Yea McFarlane either makes the hands overly large or in doom slayers case, too small. I heard a lot of people weren’t happy with that figure

mine would be the Snyder Justice League Superman from mafex i looked forward to that thing for a loooooong time finally got it opened it and both arms fell off first time i was ever Mafexed i sold it as broken for 40 bucks and never looked back

I dodged a huge bullet with the Figuarts Green Goblin, I don’t regret preordering just the Marvel Legends version. Yeah the green isn’t that shiny and yeah some of the articulation isn’t the greatest and yeah it includes the mask which isn’t accurate. But what really makes the Legends version worth it for me is the fact that they went with a much better facial expression choice for the unmasked Norman Osborn head. If they weren’t gonna include any more heads with different expression then I feel it’s that maniacal grinning face that he should have, as opposed to the SHF’s very BORING neutral expression (and not to mention the weird mustache(

It says a lot when a $50 ML is the better figure compared to the $150-$160 SHF version and it’s a shame 🤦‍♂️

I mentioned her on a previous video but Buzzmod Demon Nezuko is the worst I got for me, horribly designed neck joint, face falls, head falls sometimes, bangs fall, two of the faces are bootleg looking (The other two fortunately are gorgeous), barely 45° open legs if passed the right leg pops off FOR A CHARACTER WHO KICKS!!!, has so many flaws for a quite expensive figure. Her and Zoro are at the same level for me. I'm glad Berserk SHFs sold out and I didn't get the pre order, after seeing how bad they are.

That shredder in hell figure was probably the worst figure for me this year. The arms kept constantly falling off due to gappage, and mines lower torso broke into 4 pieces when I tried to move his leg. I had a bad experience with BST AXN in the past but thought I’d pick this new one up to see if it was better and it wasn’t. I took it back to Walmart and got my money back. I probably could’ve contacted the company, but I’ve had so many negative experiences that it wasn’t worth it.

I’m only a minute in and I know SH figure arts trunks is going to be on this list. If only I didn’t have any QC issues it would’ve been my most favourite figure this year. That’s why it’s disappointing.

@@Daydreamer4443 there's a pretty easy mod to fix the loose hips on Trunks all you need is super glue and some heat source to pop the joints off (I use boiling water). Mine doesn't have the issue with the arm popping off so I don't know what you'd do to fix that.

it looks so good plus it being this version of trunks. even though its way better than the slop on this list, i still think its more disapointing for that reason. of course i say that biased as someone who primarily buys dragonball. 😅

I was even saying that lol. That’s what happens when you have a new team working on a figure line. They have one chance to redeem themselves with collectors when it comes to the berserker armor guts, but I wouldn’t brag too much about the Figma version cause that has its own issues

Tamashii has had a really bad year imo that i think you could fill up a top 10 with just figuarts. Whether it's figures with bad qc, engineer choices, body proportions or face likenesses scans like trunks, guts, green goblin, luffy, or obi-wan. Than there's just straight up disappointing figures from tamashii because of the lack of accessories for the price point. Like most of their bleach figures have been just disappointing imo because of the ugly pants & knee design on top of no sword or kido effects. I really hope tamashii can get it together in 2024 & do better because I don't want to have to crap on them in 2025 and say variable action heroes & figma did a better one piece, berserk & demon slayer line than tamashii did🤦.

@@jarosbodytko6462His knee bend is terrible on top of his legs are wobbly & fall off too easily. I also personally hate how they are putting face plates that should be packaged with him on other figures to try & get you to buy figures you have no interest in. That type of scummy practice was the reason why I cancelled my gohan figuarts because I didn't want to buy figures like gamma 1& 2 just for gohan heads & plates.

Bandai is getting greedy and not paying attention lol. Zoro has issues but to make the figure abit better u have to make the front crotch piece narrow meaning cut off each side and make it look like a line and cut a slit in each skirt piece that and also drimmel abit in the are shoulder socket. This guy on youtube did it so i did it to mines and now he can be posed much better lol

@ all americans, you guys either need to realise that the prices of action figures in america arent the same in the rest of the world, or speak specifically about american prices when talking about whether an action figure is worth it or not. For example: in europe an shf is less then double the price of a ML for example, which makes it much more worth it than in the us In asian countries this is even more so the case, as as far as I know SHF and ML sometimes even cost the same there. all the best

I mentioned that the detail and articulation are good, but there’s horrible aspects to that figure in general, minus the break. Seems like you might be a bit salty cause I put it on the list

@@DareDevil19 Nobody with a sound judgement would recommend the ML version over the SHF version of the goblin since the plastic is of a poor quality, the goblin looks chubby and taller. the pros of getting that figure is the smiling face and the goblin's helmet, it's a toy more than a collectible. I get the video expresses your opinion, I'm sorry If I was rude.
