I really love the rough voice for the chorus but for the rest of the lyrics I wish it was a bit softer, however this is the best cover I've ever seen wow.

The best cover on that CD. All the other bands stayed too true to the originals (and the guys who did Wherever I May Roam just raped it). But this is really nice! They turned the original with all its Spanish guitar stuff into an epic melodeath song. Totally different vibe. And it works.

The screams are fine on the verses but they needed to get someone to sing clean on the chorus or at the very least layer some more screams under it to make it sound bigger. The chorus doesn't hit with the epicness it should.

Whether I like it or not, I think NO cover is better than the band/artist that actually wrote it. And yes, I like melodic death metal as well, but I don't feel it translates well with this song. I'd like to hear My Dying Bride or a 'Silent Enigma' era Anathema take a stab at it, though...

I think the voice is better too, not only the instrumentals. Why? Because they both are so more deep. It reminds me of that Death Doom Metal band, Wine From Tears. I like it more than the original. The original isn't as emotional as this.

This singing technique has the purpose of expressing rage or sadness, depending on the song. Here, it expresses sadness, so yeah, it is emotional. And I don't see anything bad in the music, sincerely. I'm not saying that it's better, I'm saying that I like it more. Nothing is better than anything, you can like it or not. But you can't say a song is objectively bad, or good. It seems you just don't like Melodic Death Metal. Don't misunderstand me anyway, I didn't want to insult Metallica.

I think Sodom, for example, isn't a comercial band for cover metallica songs.. And what I wanted to say with "people who says BA sucks.. listen "A Tribute to Metallica's Black Album" is that BA is a great album, a really nice work. Otherwise these bands wouldn't do covers, I think. And about Korn And Slipknot, they never were a legend, they're not a legend, and never could be legend, so they're only shit.
