Hey! I sew all the time! When I worked at JoAnn's I did a 101 sewing program that was "sleepover stitches". Students made pillowcases, pajama pants, and a tote bag. All of them are really quick, easy and satisfying! (And very easy to find patterns/instructions for) A lot of adults took the class even if it was technically "for kids" cause they wanted to get reacquainted with sewing as adults, so I always suggest those projects. Plus, if you want to get into home decor stuff, pillowcases surprisingly have some pretty good foundational techniques for that. I hope you pick up a machine and have fun with it!

For sewing--try making g-tube dressings. A lot of people in long term care need them. They are small projects. They have a snap, and 3 layers of fabric. Unlike disposable dressings, the "button buddies" as they are called are washable and re-usable. Just an idea. They are great for little kids that have a g tube as well!

abt the first one, theres a feature in the dlc where u can learn how to ‘polish’ items and w that it’s possible to make them sparkle afaik

No sewing expert here, but an experienced novice. 😅 My favorite projects to make are baby quilts/blankets. Such a great tour! Love this island.

Loved the tour! ...And I used to sew a lot too, not so much anymore. I've often thought about picking up some side projects for fun and trying my hand at making aprons, pot holders, or purses. Just a few ideas if inspo hits!

Yes! Finally, an island tour that'll help with my own island (I'm going for a very similar theme/vibe). Thanks for going on this tour. As far as the island goes though, I think if I were to do a cemetery, it would not go onto the beach. That part just broke the immersion for me since you typically can't bury people in the sand without them um...coming back. 😬

yes it's random. A friend and I used to visit DAs along with each other. And we obviously cannot visit together so we travelled alone and talked via discord. And of course we took the same paths and ways on the island and I was like "Omg, there is [insert name] outside" and she was like "Nooo... she's at home!" :D

It is wheat. You buy it from nooks cranny or if you have the DLC from paradise planning and because what they sell is random you gotta get lucky
