@isiman100 Sideous is the most powerful, & during rule of 2 all the old abilities were reclaimed at some point, assuming my assumption on time period is correct a Sith possesing a lesser version of a famed Sith ability should not be that surprising. It looks more like pure illusion besides.

@isiman100 any legend even vaguely referecing the ability would have promoted experimentation to achieve reclamation of lost abilities, it's the least documented period of major sith activity in star wars but we know 1. how they operated & 2. that they succeeded.

Depends on who you mean by fans. If you mean the ones who produce and enjoy this kind of video, then yes. But if you mean the legion of teenage men (and some teenage women) for whom Use Luke Or Finn as their personal projections then no.

This is freaking awesome. It also shows how terrifying fighting a Sith Lord can be. Imagine having to deal with those illusions in a fight while also trying to remember your training and maintain a sense of peace. No wonder it's so easy to fall to darkness. We haven't really been exposed to the esoteric side of the force, and I like seeing an actual display of sith magic here. It makes you really understand what Palpatine meant about the "unnatural" side of the force. Edit: It also shows that the Sith aren't necessarily stronger after all. The jedi don't have the same POWER, but they're stronger in a way that the Sith can't be.

That is true. However, the statement does not convey that idea. Instead it states that once one of them dies, the training is complete. This is a true statement, but it does not mean that the apprentice has become better than the master.

@Kommentator Hey! Me again. After having the discussion with ya last week I realized that my original comment is quite offensive! I did not mean to call the one(s) involved in the making of this film unintelligent. And for that, I am sorry. If you want me to edit the post, I will gladly do so. I didnt realize it until after I posted it and had that discussion with you. What I meant was that I do not agree with the philosophy (which is the point of the film). It's part of the way of the sith and I dont agree with it. Other than that, the film was very well done and I hope we see more in the future! P.s. are you the creator using an alt account? This was such a beautiful film; the characters and the scripting were very deeply moving. It portrays the Sith in a remarkably neutral light, in a way that dispels the idea of good and evil and reveals the truth that there are simply different disciplines surrounding the mastery of the fundamental energies that silently govern the universe. I'll probably watch this a hundred times more!

This was beyond perfection. I do not know what your budget or timeframe for making this was, but in less than 12 minutes you have captured the essence of both Star Wars and the concept of a great movie. You have an interesting plot, very good acting, great special effects and masterful choreography, along with some fun callbacks to the lore, while making an entirely new story. And somehow you squeezed more character development into these 12 minutes than the Big Bad Mouse squeezed into 3 movies that took 7 hours to watch and 898 million dollars to make. So thank you for this masterpiece! 👑🙏

Anyone else get a Nazgul vibe from the guy with the green saber? Amazing fan film. Love the story, and especially the choreography and the cinematography. I always wanted to see a saber duel in the pitch black and this delivered perfectly!

Sigh*...here we go. at least Rey's development, although slow n slightly fucked up by lack of planning n different writers n directors controlling the narrative, still manages to feel natural and not wooden n over dramatic n "forced" like Anakin's in the prequels. God those movies are hard to watch n enjoy. That's why I prefer the Clone Wars show & Books. The Sequels r imperfect sure, but so are all the SW films, so what, they were still enjoyable n changed things. I look at it like an experiment.

Idk if u ever been homeless n completely abandoned but it's quite the opposite of being the chosen one, no one thinks your special n u have to fight for everything n earn your survival. It doesn't have to be a competition. I was making a point n I think it still stands, those weren't really mistake Anakin made, he was flawed but in the most dramatically romantic way his main flaw actually points to him bring a "Gary Sue", if u think about it he's headstrong n overconfident n emotional bcuz he's so goddamn powerful n perfect in his abilities.

You don't understand it. It's not that Disney doesn't have good directors and screenwriters, it's their agenda that needs to be destroyed if possible. If Disney hired Anthony Pietromonaco, he would be as much a slave to their agenda as anyone else, and if not, they would fire him. I'm glad that there are still such unbiased, unbound filmmakers who are not manipulated by a corrupt superior from some shitty company.

The Sith are in general more interesting than that of the Jedi. The Sith evolved over many centuries while the JEdi remained practically stagnant and unchanging.

An interesting character must have flaws. Something to overcome, to fight against, or something to be driven by. The Sith lend themselves to this more easily because they often don't pretend otherwise. The Jedi are harder to make interesting in that way because of the focus on a kind of serene perfection. Look at all of the memorable and "interesting" Jedi. They ALMOST fell, or they struggle with their duties, or they failed in some way and must atone. Few people remember the Archive Librarian, because she wasn't very interesting. An average Jedi. But if there is a named Sith, even if they died quick, the often go out doing something terrible and flaw-filled. Perhaps, like the Dark Side, it's "quicker and easier" to make a Sith more interesting. ;)

Its still pre-EP VI "ROJ" as Luke Skywalker and a little in Princess Leia were the remaining powers of the Jedi (or strong in The Force)! The stories have not been filled in the future Disney probable "Midquels" to find out how the First Order, Snoke, Kylo Ren and Knights of Ren to who really were Rey's parents (we still will not know after EP IX getting faked by EP X, XI and XII mind-set only to go back into what the rebels did in the 32+ year time gap a little via Midquels)!

I saw this advertised as a fan film. It looks better than 99% of what comes out of Hollywood. The effects were top-notch and the music was fantastic and so appropriate.

you're 100% correct! I wish they would seriously consider doing a full timed movie about the sith! No one does these things and they absolutely have the skills to do it! Please, consider doing a couple of full timed movies about the Darth Bane Trilogy or Revan even. Darth Bane is the best series in the franchise. You all could do something wonderful with this trilogy, since you have zeros restraints put on you.

This was indescribable. You conveyed more through her actions and desperation than words could ever have done. Also not placing a red blade on the master's lightsaber was very disconcerting. You started out not knowing if he was Sith or a Dark Jedi. No matter which he was in your mind he was definitely unhinged and insane. I would love to know more of their backstories. Thank you and your group for a great story.

Wait is the Master speaking ancient Sith!? Also the kyber saber is just amazing, I wish we could see a force user control kyber to that degree, most duelist's and force users alike depend on technology giving them an ease of control over the kyber. Another thing I really like is that she had multiple burn marks on her body, making her failures known along her path of her training. DUDE, even the master has the same marks as her, he was training her as he was trained!

This is easily one of the best Star Wars fan films ever produced to this day. Definitely goes in my top 5 favorites of all time. That's saying a lot, too, considering the numerously large amount of SW fan films that exist which of seen. It's far and few between when we get a gem, like this one.

I’m a musician...25 years ago if one wanted to create a pro grade recording, it was time to hire a producer and head off to a commercial studio. Big bucks. There were an exceptional few that had a special something that allowed them to work in a, by comparison, primitive home studio and be commercially successful. Now most anyone with some effort, $1000-$1500 in gear and adequate self education can create a pro grade EP or album if they are committed enough. My point? This fan film, an amateur effort, is proof that one can craft a professional level film, albeit a short, but a quality production nevertheless. Technology is a great equalizer and democratizer in the right hands.

Wow. This is one of the best fan-films I've seen. It gives so much in so little time. I love the visualization of the Sith mantra, the fight itself was creative and innovative. I love when they both turn off their lightsabers. It shows how she learns and adapts her strategy. And it just worked visually. Everything about it was great.

Holy crap, this was a real gem, suuuper pumped I found this. I’ve watched a lot of the fan films, this is easily the best one. This wasn’t super corny or overdone, fantastic effects. Fantastic all around, you guys did a PHENOMENAL job, please please please keep this up, I’m expecting more!!! You’ve got yourself a fan out of me, thanks for making me smile for 11 minutes and 54 seconds

Great effort. I liked how you focus on two characters. Some interesting ideas were the Sith wielding non-red lightsabers and the Sith master being able to become one with the Force.

Andrew Lim Hey, funny finding you here, my fellow Quoran and Star wars fan! I am Diego. So, did you ended up enjoying this one more than Threads of Destiny for one reason or another? I seem to recall an answer of yours from last year or so that said that was one of the few Star Wars fan films you have seen. So how does this one compares?

This was just amazing. The off and on laber duel fight was something special. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed this 11 min story because you already know. The choreograph was so well put together. The special effects were perfect. The dialog and the voice for it were just.. genius. Going somewhere for sure.

Great Star Wars Tale! Loved the Grey/Dark side theme! The lead actress does an above the duty performance, made me crave to see her in more of her adventures. Great Work, please keep making Great Star Wars!!!

I loved the lightsaber effects and the way in which lighting was used, in the making of it and in terms of how it was used in the lightsaber choreography, which was also believable.

Amazing quality of all parts. Cinematography, acting, script, score... well done. Star Wars truly belongs to the fans now. Disney isn’t canon. The fan films like this are.

I absolutely love this film. It captures the creativity of the O.T. in that you're plunged right into the action without lengthy exposition and it begs hundreds of questions that get left to be addressed. That whole instant absorption and imagination leaves me wanting the rest of the movie where we find her name and story and all that. Keep writing! 🤩

This was a damn good fan film! The quality, costuming, storyline, all of it came together well and gave a look at the Sith that isn't normally portrayed.

Congratulations on the great work! The only thing that did not stay true to the canonical universe of Star Wars was the luminosity of the sabers. But do not compromise the quality of your work. Beautiful tale.

I am speechless. Usually I find something wrong with most Star Wars fan films but this is the most amazing one I’ve seen so far. This should be expanded on. I want more of this please.
