I'm only happy Joker had enough common sense to team up with Bats. Even if it is for the silly reason that no one can finish off the Bat but himself. That action saved Batman and ultimately the multiverse.

@@a.potato9464 It's from an old cartoon from the early 90s that ended around 2002 and it was SO popular it came back around 2016 and the new finale featured the hero teaming up with the villain from the first season of the show. It drove fans wild (in a good way) to see their hero working with one of the most evil characters in the show in a contest that would ensure both of them would survive. They only teamed up for selfish reasons, but still.

I just only got into comic books about 6-8 months before Dark Metal began, and whoo boy. I can only imagine that this is what it must have felt like to comic book readers years ago with giant events like Blackest Night and Infinite Crisis.

Drake Wilder basically all the comic books from the Road to Metal graphic novel, i dont remember all of the stories but i think Return of Bruce Wayne #1 is included, which is a continuation to Final Crisis

@@user-mf8oy4xd8i ya I have road to metal, metal, dark knights rising, and the resistance TPB’s and they catch you up on what to expect in the road to metal. All in all, the actual prequel is two issues and then they say “you’ve read the prequel to metal but there were certain issues where the metal was explained more” or something like that

Fun fact: the reason plastic man was an egg was because before a the event, he fought in many other universes and defeated lots of gods and entities, that's why he's like in that shape all this time, with that shape he single handedly defeated lots of them

This is why DC movies don't stand out because their comic book stories are too complex to be adapted into a 1-hour movie. The movie just can't capture how epic and jaw-dropping these stories are.

I think plastic man was in the egg form because remember when Mr terrific told green lantern when they were in space that plastic man was fighting off millions of dark impulses from the dark multiverse because of his special powers and that's why he reverted back to a an egg/stasis form

Well, this particular story is better than I thought it would be, Dark, Gritty, interesting story, as for the BATMAN who laughs is a mixture of both Batman and Joker, all I can say is thanks for the review and WOW.

Okay, wait, can someone please help me out, cause I've got a ton of questions. 1) What exactly is this nth & 10th metal shiz? I mean, what's their story, where are they from? Can someone please explain in very simple, layman's language? 2) What's the source wall? 3) Why was Bruce showing Clark & Diana the blueprints of Hall of Justice now? Hasn't it been around for, like, a LONGGGG time already? 4) Flash War, Dark Stars, Atlantis Rising, Dark Pantheon? These are the names of upcoming events, right? So what all books (other than this, Snyder's JL run & Death Metal) do I need to read to get caught up on the story before these come out?

8:10 Plasticman made himself an egg coz the resonations of the Dark Multiverse was driving him mad, so he decided to seclude himself, which was a bad idea, coz the egg was a power source for the machine Batman asked Superman to keep in a room in the Fortress of Solitude.

I really want to read this series but I'm currently reading the New 52 Batman stories. Surely I can't just jump into Dark Nights Metal from there right? Oh and if this comic ever gets made into a film, it needs to have a heavy metal soundtrack.
