This makes it really apparent ulcerated tree spirits were actually cut enemies from ds3. The black, sludgy texture fits them way more than what we have in Elden Ring

The footage is presented from the upcoming patch (not the 1.1.1). We made it so in phase 2 player will be able to stagger the boss and riposte it.

The second phase uses just default animations from the Tree Spirit enemy

I mean, yeah, good job and all, but that's just Pus of Man textures from DSIII with Godfreys ER moveset.

Ulcerated tree spirits originally had that texture though. They're cut enemies from Dark Souls 3
