The fact that this theme stands out on its own yet still has so many callbacks to Jhin's theme is astounding.

Oh my goodness... I lost it at 3:20-that was utterly magnificent, it made me tear up in what I can only describe as awe.

You can hear very clear motifs of both "Jhin's Theme" and "The Dark Star" throughout the piece. Just when you think Jhin's theme can't get better, this is created. I give this a 4/4.

My headcanon is that Aurelion Sol ascended Jhin to godhood, liking his vision and hoping he would help free him from Targon. Only he didn't realize the depth of Jhin's evil, and after ascending Jhin became an aspect of pure destruction and aligned with Dark Cosmic, which is on a whole level higher than Dark Star. Jhin's power rised to levels Aurelion couldn't control, one that rivals his, all because of that one voice line. Now Aurelion Sol is teaming up with the other Cosmics to battle Dark Cosmic Jhin and his Dark Star army, the battle of matter and dark matter, order and chaos, organization and entropy... you get the picture.

Imagine seeing him through a telescope staring at you.

Im pretty sure Jhin was the pinnacle of Riot designing, music and lore team. The way that his model just works with the different skins and also his lore is like a crystal heel for Cinderella. Plus, his theme song is so well put out that just the tiniest of changes can make it sound something completely different but at the same time, still the original theme if you put your hearing to it. Riot can fuck up a lot of things but Jhin is one of those works you cant hate on.

The beautiful strings lighting up into a wonderful flurry- breathing life into the composijhin just as Jhin breathes life into those he turns into masterpieces. The subtle hints of chorus climbing into the piece just as Jhin finishes his own piece, the breathy exhale of a job well done perfectly enjhineered by the vocals of this masterful work of art. Truly. Jhinspiring.

I absolutely love how some of the notes have this...eerie, lilting almost, mournful sound to them. But I think the real winner for this skin in the splash art.. When I first saw the still, I stopped breathing. That's the kind of thing I expect to find in a hidden cathedral, painted on the walls as a giant mural, a tribute to some forgotten god. It's gorgeous. The artists really went above and beyond for this batch of Dark Star skins.

It sounds so.. WRONG. SO BEAUTIFUL, BUT SO WRONG. It’s as though riot knew jhin was the absolute Worst person to make a god. And now I feel as though all the evil in existence is focused here and now before me. As though erasure in the name of art is my only worth to him. To God.
