This is the Dark Timber Arrow Destruction Test. Here we test the durability of an our arrows by shooting into a tree, and steel barrel, and lastly a concrete block.

Great shafts. I usualy install a ballistic collar on my Arrows, that does Wonders, prevent the splintering of the shaft when you hit something solid.

I was surprised to see the knock was still in there on the first shot much less the rest of the shots. A lot of shafts, when you hit something hard the end of the shaft will split for about three quarters of an inch and you can't put the knock back in. That is impressive. Too bad they don't come in lengths of more than than 32 inches, maybe 33or 34"??

I use the Galaxy Ember with longbow limbs which is about 55# at my DL which arrow, insert, and feathers would you recommend? My current arrow is the black eagle vintage with 125 up front and they seem a bit light.

What spine and insert/tip-combo are you using for 66lb.?

I use a standard insert and a 300 g head. It gives me about a 670 grain arrow. I like all my set ups to be close to 10gpp Bigjim

Wood grain looking carbon... similar to gold tip traditional or easton axis trads.
