Just went stage 2+ in my 2020 wrx with a protune and grimspeed turbo inlet and it's amazing. Never thought the car could be as awesome as it is and love the induction noise. Been watching your vids for a long time and have learned so much that allowed me to make informed decisions along the way. Thank you!

No, they have a different model specifically for the STI though! That's been on the market for a while now.

i know this is way late, but my buddy and i did mine on jacks while we also swapped my clutch.

Hi all. Does this help with not having to upgrade the shift stops etc? Would this void any warranties?

This completely replaces the shift bushing (which sits on the pin of the shift plate). I highly doubt it would void any warranties, unless you miss-shift and blow up the transmission haha

Not quite sure what noise you're talking about, I don't remember the OEM shifter making any noises.

@WRXGarage it's like metal 'cluck cluck' is not something smooth like shifting on an old jetta or even a nissan..

@@sg1893 i'm not sure but I know that the stock bushings have some play, so when you let off the gas or accelerate the shifter actually moves like an inch, that might be the clunking noise, you can fix that with some transmission mounts

@Turtle4Lif3™ I was putting more attention and is more whenever a shift is made, sounds like something is not greased or might be the cable. I just hate the noise, I feel like everyone around the block can hear when I move the shifter hahaha

The STI trans/shifter doesn't even come close to the DM-2 imo..

@@HotBoiRicer the sti one isn’t sloppy to begin with. Not to mention the wrx one is made of glass. You also get a better diff that’s controllable etc. lots of benefits
