Do you think we'll be seeing the next Darksiders game shown off in August?

Seriously, Strife NEEDS his own game, all other members got theirs, he deserve his!

Tbh Strife is definitely my favorite of them all but I kinda want them to skip a Strife game and go right to the continuation of the story. Hopefully when they continue the story you can play all of em and it's 4 player.

Strife NEEDS his own game just because of his "cameos" in all 3 main games. While in the first game he is only shown and we have his gun Mercy. In second one he is mentioned and also Death notes on the Redemption being his brothers' gun when he gets it. And in thee third he is hiding among humans as Jones. So something terrible, well if you can call that for someone like horseman, has happened to him when he was on a mission or whatever or some big consoiracy revelation was revealed to him that he was forced to go in hiding. And also it needs to explain how his guns ended up in War's and Death's hands. And also the other reason to him having his own game is also so we could get closer to him. Yes we did have him in Genisys but it was a co-op game where he was with War. Not saying it was bad but I'd like to have his own place to shine like the others had it

Strife needs a solo game

I hope they make 4 very soon and the 5 will be 4 play co-op( I just hope)

Yes, I want a stand alone Strife Darksiders game. Then another mini-game like Genesis for Death and Fury. Then Darksiders 5 can employ all 4 hoursemen to face off against Lucifer and the Council. I think the Council and Lucifer were working together.

Strife needs his own game and since we had a darksiders with war and strife we need one with death and fury

Darksiders 4 should revolves around Strife. It can start at the end of Genesis going towards the end of Darksiders 3, making his human form only Temporarily playable while Fury does her missions and he lost his guns after Fury escapes. Then throughout the following playthrough he uses other weapons then he will get his Guns back after War breaks the Seal in Darksiders 1. We can see Strife got both of his Guns back at the ending picture of Darksiders 2.

A spin off with death and fury would be cool. Strife having his own game would be good. After Remnant, Gunfire Games has the ingredients for a multiplayer Darksiders game. The series has potential.

It would be super cool if in the next Darksiders game. You could play as any of the four Horseman an see them all together throughout the story.

For Strife, I would like to see something like the combat in Remnant from the Ashes with the speed of Devil May Cry. A heavy focus on *deliberate* gun play, but with a speed to tie the game to its root. While I personally enjoyed 3, I can see why the Dark Souls inspired combat mechanics were of putting for OG fans. Personally I thought it worked well, which is why Remnant came to mind for Strife… but I would like it to keep some of the original identity of the series, with the ability to animation cancel, etc (something they actually patched into 3, tho I never found it necessary to turn on, especially since the game was not made with that in mind)…. Ehh… who knows. Just spitballin’ here really. Maybe I’m crazy🤷‍♂️

Yk I've started to think about what would happen if we got enough people to start a darksiders 4 trend

I don't care which of them would be playable, I just want a cohesive conclusion to the story that is so all over the place now that I had to watch a "previously on Darksiders" video before every new game.

I kinda feel as if Darksiders Genesis was already a “Strife” game, since we got a lot of his characterization there after being hinted at in the previous three games (especially 3). I think that the final Darksiders game should see all four Horsemen having to deal with the lawfully antagonistic Forces of Heaven, the machinations of Lucifer and Lilith, and the wrath of their former collective bosses, the Charred Council. The real question is, kinda like you asked, how would it play?

You can make Strife play as the same as Redhood in the Arkham series. You could even to the takedowns the same.

I think if darksiders 4 happen it will start from the timeline where war says Uriel that he is not alone and we see that other horseman are coming means that they will go against council

Strife is the last horseman to be known! They need to explain how he setup everything for War, Death and Fury preparing them on the day they face the Council & Lucifer! The Chronomancers oughta explain!

If it keeps the same pattern previous entries did with a different one each game Strife will like be playable. Though it'd likely be a shooter. All I know is tat cliffhanger from 1 still hasn't been resolved.

3 wasn’t received well because it didn’t feel like darksiders because they got rid of finishers

I’ll leave my honest opinion here about the Showcase. I think it was a good move. They didn’t show anything and still created hype. How? A leak happened after the Showcase. Sounds like a too good of a marketing move that was probably made by THQ themselves. Make a fake leak, then laugh at it by yourself. But again it’s just my theory. Also this is Darksiders. A big game. While Showcase sounds like a perfect place for announce, it actually isn’t. Big game needs big audience. Showcase was visited mostly by THQ fans. But what about the rest? The answer: the game must be announced during a bigger event where will be more people to not only hype the fans but also to bring the new blood to the franchise. Again this is only my personal opinion and in no way I am a pro at marketing. Just a hunch.

I want it to be a combination of Red Dead Redemption & Bulletstorm with just a splish-splash of Breath of the Wild. Tons of side quests, new characters, brand new enemies. @$&+ Yeah!

I already picture darkspider 4 with straight as playble character If the take inspection off tomb raider game i will able to do very good idea. If Darksiders 4 have the main weapons to be Pistol the need to Chenge for how the weapon works The reason i think tomp Rider it's the best is because tomp Rider legged anniversary and underworld have the best auto target dual range weapon system i have seen in video games

Although i would like them to give Strife his own game, the series is just going by so slow it's been 13 years since the series started, I want the game with all the horsemen already.

Fury is my favorite. I have the first 3 games but never tried Genesis. I would absolutely love to get a new game regardless of the character but definitely a game like the first 3. I didn't play Genesis because I'm not a big fan of that type of game. I do plan on giving it a try soon though. Thanks for giving me hope for a new Darksiders game and fingers crossed 🤞

See the issue is if we get a solo strife game there's a chance that if it doesn't do well and isn't well received then we won't ever get a finale that's why I just want them to do a finally already cause at least then we get a conclusion to the story cause all three main games have been leading up to war breaking the seventh seal and them confronting the council for starting the apocalypse early to save there own ass not to mention if it's the fourth main line game it's gotta be the ending I mean come on 4th title in the series and the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse in one game in one badass conclusion

I think Fury/ Death -> Strife game -> Then all 4. But more importantly though, who tf is head of the PR/ Marketing deparment? I hate it when they go dead silent for a very long time, I understand they want to keep things hush hush but come on waning interest is an issue nowadays.

Maybe in terms of story, it can continue from Darksider 3!! What will be the fate of strife after fighting the destroyer & surely he knows the hidden plan/mystery of the council! He could have faked his own death for his own plans, and that would have something to do with the ending scene in the first Darksiders!!

I love Genesis so much

I really like 1 and 2. 3 was way too much of a soulslike for my taste. I'm really hoping for a 4th with a return to form.

I’m just not a fan of the really zoomed out camera angle.

Welp.....

At this moment to me we got 3 ds games. I'm not counting genesis because it was shit. I want a main line strife game to finish the story shit ill wait another year to get the 4th game with a solo horsemen to wait even longer for a co op style of brawler game. You can't have 4 horsemen and not want us to scream co op brawl. Not genisis

DIDNT SELL WELL "Must have been covid" how....we all had more free time so we wanted to escape stress even more, so sales would have done better. maybe it had to do with the developers alienating fans politically, lower quality gameplay, lower quality animation, basically a B rated game with a triple A pricetag. The answer was no. Look at Saints Row remake, suffered the same issues as Darksiders 3.
