@@ArendAlphaEagle When I was really young I watched The Devil and Daniel Mouse at Halloween and I watched several Golden Age Cartoons that had Satan in them, and I used to read a comic book called Hot Stuff, where the titular character is, literally, a little devil. According to the Moral Guardians I should be burning sacrificial goats on pentagrams by now.

I also recall a cartoon called Jimmy Two-Shoes which originally took place in hell and was supposed to be an adult comedy but the final product changed hell to "Miseryville" and got rid of all the adult elements. But they didn't bother changing the character designs so most characters still look like demons/devils.

Maybe. But in the pilot episodes she gets shot at by the crooks, then gets shot at by the police, and then gets thrown off of a skyscraper twice. That's pretty perilous. I don't know why this episode was banned, but my money is on angry christian fundamentalists.

Mark of a great voice actor is when they use the same voice for completely different characters and the character's line delivery and behavior _within that voice_ make it still take you a while to realize it's the same actor.

Kath soucie has this naturally sultry voice that is gorgeous. I miss hearing her in shows.

Slapdash stuff like scrambled episode orders and the initial screwing up of Simpsons episode aspect ratios are why I'm not subscribed to Disney+. The company clearly doesn't respect its catalog the way its fans do.

Didn't the show get banned in Poland after only a few episodes? Seven, I think. And they changed the title to Brave Agent Drake. I dunno, it's hard to find info on this. There's also some info about a second dub from 2004 but that could be a complete lie.

I was curious, about the german version of Hot Spells that you used for your review, does it have the original english credits, or are they german translated credits? Because the thing is, for the english version of the episode that's online, they don't have the original credits as they're cut off.

I'm shocked I didn't recognize Gosslyn and Chuckie have the same VA as a child. Then again I still don't catch Tom Kenny at times. I've gotten better.

@@phelous Also this episode was only banned on abc afterwards but not the other channel that showed Duckwing Duck. I remember seeing this episode several times from where DW asked about the sound everytime they say, "Library of forbidden spells". And seen it several times before they quit showing DW Duck on that channel. Live in Texas at the time by the way and no, on the cable channels we had in the state, they never showed Kimba the White Lion like they did in California and some other states. Not all states had the same line up on the cable channels and Satellite dish was bigger then a basketball post at the time and more expensive. I only found out about Kimba from the Simpsons episode and had no idea what the reference was about until I looked it up on the internet at the time with blazing 5 kilobyte per second connection. So your information about this episode is only half true, banned some places but not others in the states.

@@phelous Also maybe put a disclaimer that this ban was only for Canada's network stations and not the US. US networks would have different network laws then they have in Canada. I remember this episode being shown every month and a half to 2 months, and believe it was whatever UPN 21 was called before it was called UPN 21. I think it was Paramount 21 but if someone knows you can correct me on that. Even remember this on the cable channel, Disney channel that showed The Raccoons vs that show being shown on CBC in Canada.

I know Aduckyphobia was taken off the air because of similarities with Spider-Man, but I'm not sure about the other two
