Ahhhh I can't believe I'm actually posting this video! I am still in shock! 💓 I hope you enjoy this more vlog style video where I take you with me as I begin this new chapter of my life as a full-time youtuber making cottagecore, romanticizing life and slow living videos (as I'm typing that, I still can't believe it.) The Jared cam part was so wholesome 😭 it may sound silly, but I started crying when you said you had forgotten a scene you had wanted to shoot and Jared's reaction being so loving and understanding. My ex would make me feel horrible if I had forgotten anything and I had so much anxiety around asking for anything and just to see that kind of reaction is such a lovely standard to keep in my mind, it felt like genuine respect and love and seeing it makes it seem possible for me to find it as well haha. I love you Desi thank you for all the effort and beauty you put into everything 😭🌙🌹

I had the same thoughts when I heard Jared saying "No it's fine, where do you want me to go?". It's so loving and caring and somehow alien as I wasn't treated like that in my past relationship either. My brain therefore forecasts a totally different trajectory of reaction under such circumstances. My heart goes out to you❤ You are worthy of love, care, respect, and belonging❤

Haha he’s a fun one 😂💗 After we got married I asked Jared to read to me because dyslexia makes it hard for me to read books physically, so now it’s become part of our nightly routine 🤍

A little trick I always use when pouring hot water over the teabag in my mug is to wrap the string around the handle of the mug! So it doesn’t get lost in the tea and you just unwrap it when it’s done steeping ☕️ 🫖

It makes me dream while awake. Please keep going. Congratulations, that's so wonderful! As someone who is self employed, I would urge you to set your own routines and boundaries as soon as you can though because you need to be able to separate work from day to day life - I learned the hard way! Tips: +Set fixed start and finish times +Plan your week and your days as much as possible +Batch tasks to make the most of time +Don't just 'quickly do something' after your work day ends +Do something like go for a walk before/after you work - it helps to segregate the activity in your mind +Meditate befor eyou start your working day (and after if you feel able) - it definitely helps with the anxious brain too! Wishing you all the luck in the world!

I really love the antique furnitures and old Times,but I can't live a life like that because of school etc. I am just really hopeless about it. I want to live my life however I want. Sooo can u give me some tips ??💃💘

I didn’t get this furniture and create my dream bedroom until I was 28. At university I just tried to decorate my dorm room the best that I could :) maybe try making small changes like hanging some fairy lights, getting a new blanket or duvet cover and some pretty candles :)

I also think that it can make a huge difference to replace your drawer and furniture handles with more vintage looking ones, dry flowers and put them in thrifted vases, put aesthetically pleasing pictures in cheap frames from yard sales or the dollar store, utilize natural lighting or candles when you can, and play ambiance playlists to make your space feel cozy! I’m a student too, and it’s a little hard to find time, but you can romanticize studying and learning too, and going on walks or spending time outside is always a calming mood booster! Oh, and I like to spend time reading, writing, or drawing instead of on my phone, and when I am online, I like to watch videos that are cozy, educational, or beautiful, like Desi’s!

It's amazing how you have touched the souls of so many people. I started watching your videos half a year ago and I wanted to romanticize my life, give it a vintage touch. And I reopened my KZfaq channel thanks to you, decorating my vintage travel notebook, and giving everything a romantic touch. I love your videos and you have really helped me in my anxiety process. I'm transplanted and go out of the house a bit, and your videos managed to help me disconnect and resume KZfaq videos. and I am happy for you, to have finally managed to make you a full-time youtuber.
