Daron Malakian's way of saying, "We are Armenians, we exist, we're loud, we will not capitulate." Art, and especially music achieves this, the visual display of Armenian culture, symbolism, and dancing is defiant, outspoken and a rebuttal against the injustices committed against Armenians (i.e. the Genocide). A powerful work of art, good music as a vehicle for an even better message.

I know this goes with the Armenian Genocide, but the exact lyrics can be put with the Genocide of Bengalis during Bangladesh's war of independence vs Pakistan. Pakistan still denies the status of it being a genocide, and being an American SOAD fan with Bangladeshi parents, this song makes me emotional. Daron did a great job on this.

Dora Robertson to be honest, there was not much survival for armenians, they used to attack neighbor countries and kill ordinary people instead of battling with other soldiers like men.+ cultural things presented in this video are turkic and georgian. that's all you should know.

Mafogo he explained on a video that SoaD talked about the genocide but with this song, he wanted to value the joy that the Armenians feel for being alive. Means that to see the positive side of the situation. They are alive and dancing along.

Hello from Turkey (don't believe in races much). My mistake but I have nearly learn this song. I never be a Rock listener but with this one I can say that I love this genre. I guess this song made me love. About the topic of the song this lands lost lots of intellectual people and lots of people lost ther own home. There is no t something okey about it. Anatolia (especially Istanbul and Hatay) has thousands of Armanian now and forget about racists. We love you guys so much.
