Donating to extinguish the fires will save lives, but to really make a difference we have end burning fossil fuels and aid our eco systems. LYRICS: We're the day birds Deciding to fly against the sky Within our dreams, we all wake up To kiss the ones who are born to die We're the greying herds Hurting each other with our lives Within our dreams, we all wake up To kiss the ones who are born to die Born to die, born to die The drum fish They beached themselves in Hara-kiri The blackbirds They fell in thousands from the sky Their red wings Streaming down from the higher seas Deflected by the grounds They crowned the sun They crowned the sun But I believe that they are free When their time was done They were drowned by the only One But I believe that they are free Washed by the sun Our statues The soaring edifice of our times Detracted from the ways of the wise The future will view all history as a crime So father, tell us when is time to rise They crowned the sun They crowned the sun But I believe that they are free When their time was done They were drowned by the only One But I believe that they are free They crowned the sun They crowned the sun But I believe that they are free And we believe that they are free 'Cause I believe that they are me Washed by the sun

"They crowned the Sun, they crowned the Sun! But I believe that they were free when their time was done! They were drowned by the only One! But I believe that they are free! And we believe that they are free! Cuz I believe that they are me!" Be the change you want to see in the world, do not stop to wonder why we should, but believe that is a must. It's never too late, everything counts. Keep fighting for those that don't have a voice and no law to protect them. Be brave, stand for others.

Most of the things are false though. We are doing extremely well right now (with the exception of global warming but I will get to that). On basically every metric we are doing better than ever before. There is less crime, less infant death, less disease, less wars, when there are wars less people die, less murder, less stealing, more rights across the globe, less people living in poverty, less starvation, less malnutrition, etc, etc. You can essentially pick anything and it's better today than ever before. If you had to pick a time to be born, right now would be the absolute best choice hands down. The only thing getting worse is climate change and our energy use. It's absolutely important and the most important thing in the world right now to switch from fossil fuels ot anything else be it nuclear or wind or sun or whatever. This video has a lot of things wrong; GMO's arent an issue at all, radiation is not an issue at all, wars were definitely fought way before 2925 BC heck Chimpanzees wage multi year wars (pretty brutal wars too btw). I absolutely love this song and it's brilliant as fuck but I feel like the message is a bit misdirected. Yes there are problems that need solving but we humans are pretty good at solving issues. When we found out that CFC's were causing the ozone-layer to get fucked up we globally decided to ban the practice and we were mostly succesful, succesful enough that the ozone-layer is healing. When we found out lead fuel was causing disease world wide, we put a stop to leaded fuel. Humanity is continually making progress and defeatist attitudes like this don't help.
