Yeah, that girl Angel is soooo annoying!!! She commented the same thing with regine's i dont wanna miss a thing. Thank you for your comments. When you guys said though, "it... lacked personality", I also kind of asked myself: 'Shouldn't you guys listen to the song first of the original singer'? You guys said, you didn't know the song, so I felt, how can you comment when you didn't even know the song in the first place? I don't know, it just feels weird, for a pair who doesn't know the song and comment that this guy covering the song "lacked personality". Actually, this is not the first song I heard you guys saying you don't know the song but you still ended up commenting on the performance. Anyway, nice to hear your views.

Actually the ending of that song was not like that if you listen to the original. I also think that he's very connected and into it when singing this. You only have to look at his expression and sound. Also Its not that he puts in more effort because i think chandelier is really a lot harder..the only reason why this song seem harder is because his version IS harder. Darren is still one of my favorites but no one can beat Charice when it comes to covering a song to stage performance. Mostly classics songs that are very hard to cover. She's one of the best vocalist in this generation in my opinion. Her voice is just perfection not to mention the clarity and emotions she put into a song. Her highs and low are both amazing just like Darren. Goose bumps every time I hear them sing.

MJ JACKSON Yes Charice is a very good singer...i like her too...but the difference is that..Darren is a male singer...and charice is female...it is pretty obvious that female singers can cover feminine songs effortlessly...but man Darren is a male and a teenager...but he can sang it too just like wat other female singers do...

He is 100% filipono. He acquired canadian citizen because he grow up there. Her mom and dad working in canada. Both his parents are filipino. He is a runner up in canadian contest, and a runner up as well in the voice philippines. Since then he became popular. So many offers being offered to him.. Darren became famous all over the world. Because of his exposure in anf outside the country.
