Thanks so much for the reaction! Yes, he's a natural and special🙌 although he mentioned he's undergone vocal coaching recently to adjust to his post puberty voice.. But! Just when you thought he lost his high notes...no, no haha! You should check out his "Phantom of the Opera" (Aces, 2019) or "Rise Up" (Birthday Concert, 2020) :D Can't wait to listen to and watch your reaction to these performances :D! Keep them coming!

Most Filipino singers are natural. Many come from backgrounds where singing lessons is not an option. I beleive Leah Salonga had voice lessons from a young age but many don’t. Darren Espanto is Canadian who participated in Canadian singing contests.

He is a PURE FILIPINO by BLOOD. His parents are pure Filipinos. That is the TRUTH. Even if they took Canadian citizenship but they cannot hide the fact that the blood running in their veins are of pure Filipino. You cannot change their DNA from their ancestor Shem son of Noah handed down to Yoktan brother of Peleg of the Hebrew Israelites that is why in singing there are only 2 types of people who can really sing well. Have you noticed that Mariah, Whitney, etc., then Charice, Morisette, Daryl, Regine, Lani, KZ and many more from the lands of Ophir, Sheba and Tarshish known today as Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. The true Hebrew Israelites are not white. Even the MessiYAH is not white. Read the Book of Hazon (Revelation) it is mentioned in there. Those people in Israel right now are not true Hebrews. you are right, at this point he wasn't trained much. He started getting more coaching when he went through most of the puberty changes. you're not the first ones to notice how he pulls back his tongue which makes things less easy. :) Watching him through the years, I think he actually lost a bit of the confidence after this period (probably because his voice was changing or just because he was a teen forming his identity), but he's gaining it back again. :D yass please listen to his more recent performance like his Hallelujah cover! And also that interview game he did where he had to sing lyrics to other song melodies. Please also watch the TNT Boys doing their original song on the Wish USA bus called Together We Fly. They were a few years younger than Darren was in this one.
