@@DMac__ he didnt show such composure in the previous pre season. He did score tho. The problem with nunez was he was trying to over-impress when je joined even in pre season where he missed goals. Add that with new culture and language barrier . He looks happier and more familiar with players and play style. So i am definitely calling for a 20-30 goals season

nunez will succeed, simply liverpool hasn’t adapted to his style of football yet and it’s clear. i watched an entire video on it and i can’t remember who posted it but they basically said that the way nunez plays was different then liverpools old striker and with this new season his teammates will now be adapted to nunez and his style of football leading to more goals

if we’re talking prem only, last season he got 12g/a in 1700 minutes. That works out at about half the minutes of the whole season so if we times it by 2 he’d of got 24g/a (in theory) which would’ve obviously been amazing for a first season. This isn’t even factoring in the amount of big chances he missed, if he scores a few more big chances i think he could easily get about 30g/a because his movements give him like 2/3 big chances a game to score and obviously if he scores one of them a game he’s well on track

If you really look at it he always started scoring a lot in his second season if I'm correct he was in almeria and he was bought in January and scored like 3 or 4 in 15 or 16 and then in his second season he scored 16 in 30 and he joined benfica and then he did what you said and he scored 15 and assisted 7 and that is 22 GA in 40+ games and which is not a bad one but expectations are high because we know he's capable of scoring a lot I mean he can give haaland a run for money in the upcoming season in the golden boot race ..
