The tough guy can show his emotions and regrets and the weak girl can start the path to be stronger It is a quiet episode but so much development for Daryl and Beth loved it.

Daryl and Beth yelling at each other until Daryl broked to tears was such a strong emotional scene

You’re gonna be the last man standing That is Daryl’s biggest fear in the world losing all the people he loves and becoming nothing again I remember thinking those words will be ringing in his ears every time someone dies.

Although a bottle episode, this is easily one of my favorites in the entire series simply for the development we got for both Daryl and Beth. It raised them both so much higher on my roster. That conversation they have at the end always hits me like a brick.

Foreshadowing: Beth "I get it now,"

Beth hugging Daryl after his breakdown is such a powerful moment for me It gives me goosebumps every time I watch it.

Guys, after watching another reaction channel for a while I want to compliment you guys. You don't talk over each other much, you pay attention, you make your points clear, and you sound good with the microphones. Not all reactors use the same equipment and style, but you're far away from the bottom, even though worse folks may have over a million subscribers. ;)

Darryl was on the cusp of breaking already and when Beth said she had never gone to jail and he said that’s what you think of me it was the trigger to him lashing out at her

I love this episode we get to experience Beth a little more because we haven’t seen or heard much from her previously And we get to see Daryl deal with some of his past who he thinks he is versus how others (Beth) see him Daryl basically sees himself in the shadow of whoever’s in charge - Merle/Rick/Hershel - but in this episode Beth was vulnerable and he stepped up to take charge but we also get to see his own vulnerability of being left alone Carol tried to tell him before that he’s just as good as the others but I don’t think he quite believed her.

I always enjoy what they did with Beth and especially having her grow with Daryl cause I think they’re just such an interesting dynamic. Like Beth’s just young enough that she give Daryl hope and her life is what he wish he had

I like this episode a lot - TWD first 4 seasons are amazing. That being said GoT S1-4 is the best run in television history, its not close. The comparisons dont have to be made though, its unfair to compare almost anything to GoT S1-4, TWD S1-4 is a great run in its own right.
