Thankyou to everyone who continues to support our videos, Unfortunately we have been running into a lot of issues with copyright claims on KZfaq lately, A lot of our videos have been receiving copyright strikes with the company claiming we don't have permission to use the videos. All our videos are user submitted but unfortunately due to this mess our channel is now in quite a bad standing and at risk of disappearing. Thanks for your continued support and viewership over the years here. You will still be able to see our content via the below sites should the KZfaq channel be removed. 07:46. Some years ago, I was hit by a trailer (very much like that) with someone zooming up the left lane. They sped away (I got the trailer rego!). I stopped, the car behind me stopped (said "I saw the whole thing" and gave me his details). I called 000 and reported a hit and run, they told me to report it at my local station. Drove to Elizabeth (South Australia) SAPOL station, and was told by an officer it "might have been your fault" (failure to 'merge'). He just stared at me. I said "I still have to report it, don't I?" He started taking the details. He phoned the "witness" - and TOLD him if he was directly behind me, he COULDN'T have seen a collision occur. He turned to me and said "You've got no witnesses, it's your word against his". I insisted I still had to have an accident report. After a big 'sigh', he finally gave me the little blue card with a report number on it. I rang my insurance company, and I was told if I did NOT IDENTIFY THE OTHER PARTY, I would pay full excess, and loose my no claim bonus. I called police, quoted the number, and asked for the other parties details. I was told it would take "some time" to be available, call back in a week or two. - This kept on for months, until I was told I'd have to contact "records section". Records told me the accident had been closed off as an "MC" (Minor Collision) with NO investigation, no recording of the other parties details. There's probably some newbie copper out there, wondering they are treated with such contempt by the majority of society. (Put a sack of shit in a costume, it'll always be a sack of shit in a costume)

My car was stolen while I was at work, the same evening after calling the police station around 10 times with no answer for over an hour, I drove there and there was several officers on duty obviously refusing to answer the phone. When I was there they did not take any details or even say they would look out for the car/rego plate. They told me it was unlikely anything would be done at all!
@MikeDCWeld5 жыл бұрын
@resistance1207 ok. It sounds like the cop didn't want to have to do anything about it and that led to the manager freaking out. It also makes sense that taking further legal action would have cost more than it was worth.

My partner was unlucky enough to have his car dinged by a klepto making a quick getaway with at least 3 witnesses. Damages were mostly cosmetic. Police report was made and we were told it would take a short while to get her id details for the insurance claim. Fast forward a few months, her Details were provided and insurance had apparently tried to reach her but she wasn’t responsible. Now my partner is having to pay for his own excess so the insurance can take it a step further in collecting the money from this woman. And if she doesn’t respond still, apparently there is nothing they can do. This I despite her being a repeat offender (policeman could id her right away when we first made the report) and her being charged. I don’t get the law in this country..

Oh hey! My mate messaged me about this. So I was the driver of that smoky car, what happened was on the cruise with the boys my S1 RX8 (purple/blue colour) with series 2 tailights blew an Oil control ring hence the black smoke. The video of this exact moment was when it had just happened. Towards the end the smoke actually goes away and was fine for the rest of the drive. I didn't stop the minute I saw the smoke behind me because I thought that if it was a blown apex seal or anything related to that then I wouldn't have been able to hot start the car after I turned it off. Meaning I'd be stranded. You probably think I was actually an idiot for continuing to drive smoking up everyone behind me but the reality was it only happened for that 20 or so seconds before it was all fine again. I actually did pull to the side of the road and put my Hazzard lights on though because the guys in front of me messaged my partner in the passenger seat to have me pull over. The driver of where the dash cam footage was taken actually beeped his horn at me for pulling over in an emergency lane that was too close to the road (it's pretty narrow to stop in but I wanted to just have the car be safe). I remember going "I'm trying to just do my best to show there is a hazzard" to others on the road. Anyway that's the backstory!
@andrewdavids2755 жыл бұрын

The rules for roundabouts say go give way to vehicles on the roundabout. They don't say that the fastest vehicle has right of way and they don't say give way to the right. In Medowie that means if you are travelling along Ferodale Rd through the Kirrang Drv roundabout you are expected to slow down and be prepared to give way to people turning out of Kirrang Drv. Just because you are doing 70km/hr in a 60 zone doesn't give you right of way:(

all diesel vehicles fitted with DPF's and EGR systems should be recalled and have the DPF removed and the EGR disabled. All they do is make the vehicle burn more fuel and clog up the motor and or DPF and create more pollution in the long run. All DPF systems are a fire risk so shouldn't be used in a hot climate country like Australia anyway
