You can assign the parameters to a macro and do it that way

@@DashGlitch Ty! I'm aware of those (And should use them more...), but the main issue is I usually start off without one. I automate one thing and realize I want something else in parallel later. Weird thing about FL, I open the channel settings/automation editor window, and the save preset option there is gray. I'd copy/paste that over to a controller, but it seems I have to do it manually for no particular reason, we can save midi data etc. just fine Edit: I'm looking into it now, it seems I've got it, mostly. I can simply use the link to controller window to link to an existing clip! I don't get options as advanced as I'd like them this way, but there's options like default, inverted, log scale and steppy, just no custom formula/range over which it's active. I'd love being able to squish it into a range or simply cut off the movement at the extremes One strange issue seems to be that I gotta make sure to pick everything I wanna assign before making copies of the automation clip, since anything added after will only respond to one of the automation clips, appearing seperately in the list... Strange. Well, I click the automation clip in question and can add to a list of target link! Strange issue, but it's solved. Except, it seems it won't take the formula into account on the automation clip it is now assigned to, even though it says it should. Another discovery: State files... I guess they just don't consider it a preset, but it's there. Well, I can save the automation data that ''broke'' cause I added a link after I copied the clip, now I save that data and create a copy of the original that works after I've linked something, simply paste automation data onto that. Not the best, but it works and still saves time overal

Yea it's nice, I am not personally a fan of sub-models, so I don't use the stream element of it, but the synth is good. Has some unique features and it's really intuitive, I have used it in several productions yea.

Nice, thanks for the reply. I am not a fan of subscription models either it`s what kept me from buying it sofar. I will go for a perpetual license if i opt to buy it, the only thing bothering me is that there is the stream/store build into the synth itself. But i can see Current being an interesting composit of elements with the implementation of the effects and multi synthesis options.

Warp modes that don’t require fancy setup, and the UI is a bit easier for beginners

Trying to decide between falcon 3 and current at the moment.. Though falcon 3 seems like a monster I've also heard it takes more time to make good patches, so I'm leaning towards current. Really like the sound of the filters in the video..

@@mattiasboden2329 and you already had a look on dash’s‘ beloved Phaseplant? It has the most powerful, yet flexible interface in a plug-in. And yes you may need further add-ins but what is already free of charge - is unbelievable…but, there are sales and some second hand dealers…also the upcoming Synthmaster 3 - don‘t know if they still offer the Synthmaster everything bundle (get every of their official soundpacks and SM 1&2 - and 3 when it will be released)

I'd say it's more of a Factory soundset that comes with the perpetual, there are some good sounds and it's nice if you make a lot of your own sounds, but if you're into loads of presets/banks etc, I'd think about the stream/sub plan

depends, phase plant is more advanced but this is quicker for basic sounds

Their fully functional effects that you would already be accustomed too since most are stand alone. With the presets for all of them. Something like Morph EQ is a bigger beast with access to the modulation capabilities. Being able to, right within the plugin, browse more presets and sounds is convenient. Since the interface is basically a combination of Serum and Pigments, in my opinion, the workflow is much more efficient in comparison. I'd worry less about how this compares to other synths, sure, it's another synth, but try it, does it feel more intuitive and enable a better workflow for you to be more creative? Then that in itself it's a win compared to other synths.

You certainly don't need it, but you might want to have it

Its not restricted to.one daw and applies to multiple plugins. It's their internal development template that causes this limited accessibility. Minimal audio is aware and prioritises differently.

The only thing which has a similar feature set that I know of is Pigments (WT oscs, Granular and Additive + an advanced modulation/FX and sequencer system) which is $199. What else are you comparing to?

I guess Im comparing it to Pigments, Serum, Quanta, Izotope Iris, I get this plugin sounds awesome and the effects sound awesome, I might buy it if it goes on sale half price sometime, $200 for a synth plugin is hard for me to justify, I can almost buy a entire synth keyboard for that price

The Granular system and the FX for sure, but it's a really nice and intuitive "all-in-one"

true, I think they only added the nf filter in the generators recently but yea - even in the wavetable editor you can get a good dispersion in phase plant
