Yes, this is what our date night looks like. Fancy dinner is obviously nice on occasion but I prefer to just be casual and relax. Much more fun. What we loved to do pre-COVID: sit at the bar and eat. We’d chat with the bartenders and other patrons. It kept each date night interesting and made for great dinner entertainment sometimes. By the way, you look great!!! Hope Randy’s feeling better from his stone. Also, the puppers are just too adorable.

It is very interesting to see how people live in small towns in the United States. I am from Poland and I watch your videos with great pleasure. It's a great experience to compare lifestyles of just ordinary people in the USA to those in Poland. In the past I was once in the United States so for me it's also like comparing my own experiences from those times with today's reality. So it would be really wonderful if you continued with these particular series of videos. And by the way, I came across your website because i love dogs (so far I have adopted two of them and in the past I also had pure bred dogs) and wanted to watch something about our wonderful pets. But you are such a great person, full of positive energy, outgoing and selfless that I stayed for longer.

Yeah, that's a great idea! I vote "Yes" for a guided tour of all of your favorite places and interests in your small country town. The older I get, I find the big cities less attractive. I like having places to go in a small town that are meaningful to me. Be Well!

I HIGHLY encourage you to look into the thundershirt for Pollux! My dog was SO much like him! Freaked out by everything loud. I couldn't sleep at all on the 4th of July for all the shaking, pacing, hiding under my legs she did. HOURS of that! All she wanted to do was curl up behind my legs, where ever I was standing or sitting. I couldn't go out. The thundershirt made a huge difference! It's like a wrap around snuggle thing with velcro, tailored to the shape & size of the dog. It's along the same principal as the weighted blankets used with children with autism. Very calming! I guess you can buy them at most pet stores. I got mine on amazon.

Awesome video, I hate leaving my dog too and always hurry home because I know he’s howling at the window the whole time I’m gone. ( I have a camera) Pollux shaking the toy and his cute little bark at the end was precious and I laughed so hard. Maxxie is just the sweetest too. My boyfriend is not helpful like Randy so I make do with projects I am able to do by myself. I have my pets and enjoy your pets. I cook for my dogs cause the kibble is giving dogs cancer. Interesting watching what other folks do, where the live, where they eat out and what their lives are like. Thank you so much for sharing. We live in Australia on the fringe of the desert surrounded by sea. Out nearest City is 500 miles round trip. Out lives are very simple, like you both when we dine out, we are very happy to be back with our one dog now and enjoy watching movies on the TV.

Hey i just had to add to my comment about the train. It really gave me a chuckle. We lived near Bowling Green Ky for 2 years. From 2002 to 2004. And boy do I remember the trains! You might just as well relax because there is no way of getting around it. Lol. That is something we do not miss. 😃

There is a lot you can do to help the dogs when they're afraid of thunderstorms! Two easy solutions--try Adaptil and try a thunder shirt. There are lots of things you can do to help.

There is a very good episode given by Caesar Milan where he talks about how to help dogs afraid of thunder storms. Our dog Bunny was always afraid too, watched his advice. He basically said “Do you pay extra attention to do when this happens?” We were like yes. He coached to stop paying attention to dog when storms happened. We were like that wouldn’t work! Basically he said when we pay more attention the dog thinks there is something to be afraid of. Anyway thought I’d mention it in case you want to search it. And eventually it did work, who would think that? Worth a watch.

We Iive in a small town, with some great restaurants , small shops and some upcoming franchises. It's clean, quiet and very safe....I love it 🥰 it's close to wineries, hour to beaches, and a transiti ride to the city.💕

We lived in Paducah near Clark Elementary for 2 years from 2017-2019. We would walk to Dry Ground Brewery all the time. We rode our bikes to Paducah Beer Works. We really loved the Pepperoni chips! Wish I had seen your videos before we moved to South Carolina in the fall of 2019. We still have friends there. My son and I visited my parents in Memphis (where we are from originally) and took them to visit Paducah this past June. My dad wanted to visit Rural King! We loved living there. It's fun to see your videos. I realized you were in Paducah when I saw your video about the day you adopted your dog and I saw McCraken County! Love your videos and your sweet dogs!

Oh my gosh! Our town is Tupelo, MS, (where Elvis was born!), and we have trains that go through town all the time! Yay!!!
