Kinda refreshing honestly to see a remastered YTP from an era where sauce jokes were just funny with no subversion required. Feels towards the late 2010s we all collectively decided sauce wasn’t funny anymore and tried to be all high and mighty about having higher standards of comedy. Turns out sauce jokes are funny and always have been.

The reason we decided saas wasn't funny anymore is because too many were using it as a crutch, often to the point where the entire video was nothing but it. The sting has worn off a bit since then; as it fell out of favor, it started being not-overused anymore.

Hey there! DJK back again to talk about DaThings' "Little d", the finer details of YTP that you might have missed. Don't forget to watch the video first to catch 'em yourselves! 1:47 Can't believe I missed this one, but when Doug Sharshall says "Hello, Marks", every shark has Mark Cuban's head. 2:58 The Tiger Poster is a recurring DaThings joke which first appeared in the YTP - "Zooks". (Also I would really love to see a high quality version of this art asset, the tiger is very cute.) 3:11 The Bowling Bee first appeared in YTP - "Wow! It's Played!" and has commonly been used as a censor bar in DaThings videos ever since. 5:35 With closed captions on, this egg is referred to as "The Egg (tm)". It has been seen most notably in Chef Jonathan Lonathan YTP's, namely "How to Food" and 'When to Food". I don't believe it was created by Bell and Howl. (EDIT FROM SmaMan) 6:19 The "Owozon" page shown here is riddled with funny text alterations. 6:36 Yurf is a recurring characters in DaThings YTP's, first referenced in YTP - "The Bat is in a Sack", and was given his current design in YTP - "Seeder Point". 6:59 The left shark on the bull was previously used in other DaThings YTP's, including "Once in a Knifetime", and "Make Cake Bake!" 8:08 After Kevin says "You get nothing!", his outfit changes to Gene Wilder's from "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory", where Willy Wonka famously says the same line. I love coming into these, having no idea what the source material even is, and then trying to figure out what it is about based solely on the YTP. Gets the mind working for once.
