This isn't part of the Wow! It's Made! series, but I've wanted for a while to branch into other manufacturing documentaries from different eras. This could very well become a series, or it might be a one-off. We'll see. In the meantime I'm taking it easy for the holidays. See you in 2024!

More, Ellie, more! I'll even give you a pointer for great fodder-- this old DuPont ad film for Mylar plastics called "What's It To You?". It's perfect YTP fodder and it's also great riffing fodder, being the so-called "lost MST3K short" after their riff of it was lost. The Isle of Rangoon guys + Linkara did a great riff on it some years ago.

Raising the bar for the final YTP of 2023 I see? This was very good. The floor plan rooms portion of the video was so well sentence mixed mixed it sounds as if it was straight from the original version of video! I couldn’t stop laughing at the really well made edits to the voice lines here, and the other small audio and visual jokes were great too.

@@maximilianmorse9697I mean to some degree I've come to find enjoyment in YTPs via the fact that various levels of jokes are imperceptible to me as a foreigner. Surrealism to the next level. Obviously having watched a significant amount of English audio I've gotten better at understanding even poor quality English recordings so it isn't as effective as it used to be but whatever. You do you.
