One of my viewers was my wife of 14 years now. She stood out from the rest in a number of ways. She was frugal, responsible. Had a wonderful extended family and two well disciplined, goal oriented children. She was kind too. And she had a nice college education and a good job. I knew she would be a wonderful mate and I was right!

I had a filipina girlfriend once back in 1981. She was beautiful, going to a Jr college getting her education. Both of us were young and having fun.. So much so she became my wife in August of 81 and we're still married living here on biliran island in a house we built 30 years ago. But we're not retiring here we knew years ago the medical care here is let say not the best.. We're looking at making the move to fla. In a few years.. We will spend our golden years in an area that is better for our health as we age.. She has been the love of my life.. I have always given her the best that life can bring us. 🎉
@HenryBegun5 ай бұрын
Any tips to go over there ? For first time
@stephenduling50245 ай бұрын
@HenryBegun come over and enjoy this beautiful country. But it can be very hot with high humidity.. Some people can't take it.. Make sure if you have any medical issues, you bring as many meds as you can. Medical care here is not the best.. 3 words you will hear a lot is "Out of Stock," and you dont want that when it comes to medical supplies.. But you will if you stay here long time.. We're leaving here in 2 days, going back to the States for 2 months, and we do it every year.. Hopefully, in 3 years, we'll be in fla. Enjoying our senior years. Better medical facilities there, roads, drivers all better than here. And many more good restaurants to choose from.. Yes, it's more expensive there. Plan well, and you'll do well. Don't start planning retirement in your 50's or 60's that should have started back in your 20's. We did, and we have worked the plan.. Now it's paying dividends. We are celebrating our 42 wedding anniversary in Singapore this August. We love going there.

A long time ago I learned that beauty today will eventually fade tomorrow. My Filipina isn’t unattractive, but her sharp mind, her humor and the intellectual attraction we had for each other was the main points that brought us together. Years down the road those will still be there! You’ll understand when we have lunch on the 31st. Don’t forget that one of the problems in dating a Filipina is cultural differences. Both sides think and react differently. Tampo is a real thing here! 😂🤣

Great video. Always keep this in mind guys. Regardless of the location, women are wired to tap your resources (money, housing, etc). Make absolutely sure that you do not hand your resources over to any woman. Always make sure you have total custody of your resources so if she bails, she doesn't get to take "your" resources with her... While she's with you, spoil her with your resources, but don't put yourself in a situation where she takes custody of them. This is especially important regarding housing. Marriage? As a financial advisor, I would advise you against it, just saying....

I agree, the morena skin and LONG completely black hair is what I find attractive. If Filipina's pay attention, most vloggers with Filipina's are with the morena ones. Outer beauty ONLY gets a man's attention and draws him to her, it is her attitude, behaviors, and personal character that makes him decide if he will stay or not. If she can bring him happiness, peace, and make his life easier he will commit to her. If she behaves in any way like a western woman, he's not going to stick around, that's what he fled his own country to get AWAY from.

With reference to your first point, my wife is not particularly dark-skinned but she's not exactly light, more like a beige colour, not that I give a crap! She used to be concerned about her complexion, investing in the skin-lightening creams, etc., like so many of her friends, but then she realised that I didn't really care and that I appreciated her tanned, blemish-free, clean appearance. She only hits the make-up tray when she has an all-Filipino function to attend, which is fine by me. I am astonishingly, Englishly, white, in spite of having lived 30 years in the tropics. My step-daughter is darkish, whille our son is clearly a light-skinned mixed race child. Regarding the issue of income, my wife didn't use me as a meal-ticket to go overseas but as a ticket to come back home - we met in HK - and we have invested our lives in this country, where we are doing just fine. Our kids - immediate and extended family - are being educated at decent establishments here in the Philippines. I support them and my only proviso is that they give back to the Philippines for a few years before going overseas, if they wish. They also know that it's not an open wallet and if they screw up, well, that's their choice and there's no safety net.

Looks fade, and sex slows down, which is normal. This doesn't mean that the honeymoon should end because a relationship needs many aspects to be whole. Be careful with separated women as they may only be separated until you come into the picture, and then the husband pops up for the financial benefits. Wait until you are retired before going overseas and plan on living there. Be very clear about your plans, so if they have ulterior motives, they can move on . Utang na loob is a real thing here, and many women are supporting their extended family, and if you get involved with this woman, then you may end up assuming her burden if she is not working. Do your research and learn the culture, especially of the women you are dating, because that can be different from each region, and you don't want to offend someone. Filipinas won't take the time to learn about your culture unless they are targeting you, so pay attention to that because a good scammer knows their victims' habits and exploits them to their own advantage . A real Filipina doesn't have time to learn about other cultures because their busy making a living, and you coming into their life is not a planned thing. Be careful of the baby trap and always use protection as stds and aids are on the rise in the philippines. If you don't plan on having any more children, then I recommend you consider having a vasectomy before you go overseas and just be honest about it with the women you meet. Younger women may be looking for this, but a woman who already has a child that is older may not. They are concerned about what they bring to the table in the relationship and will try to bolster their worth because of the competition and their own insecurities. We as men know what we are looking for in a woman and that women will stick out in the crowd. Some men are going overseas and are already done with women but want the financial benefits and warm weather as it's easier on the body. It's easy to just get a housekeeper to come in two or three times a week to clean and maybe do laundry instead of having a live in care taker because your obligations to her increase dramatically. You will need to provide room and board plus medical care, and your privacy will suffer.

A 5'2 average looking Filipina isn't what I would call (model material) around the world. I know some who take care of themselves although if you ask most of them they wish to be taller and lighter skin. You can even see a few with umbrellas outside in sun. I am in mid 30s but never for a chance would I go for relationship with a 20 something as many of them have IQs of what a 12 year old western one would. Even some my age here aren't that bright I think because of the lack of education growing up. The ones who work in software development which is my field in Makiti are far more intelligent. You really need to pick carefully. For me it's better closer to my age range from 30 to 42. When I get old I would just accept it and be with someone closer to my age and more in common with. I would thing more 30 somethings here have much more in common with a 30 something partner. That's usually how it goes in all parts of the world.

The number one problem you’re dealing with is the law that any Filipino has to follow, which is 195, 196 law. Which says in essence, anything the girl makes she must use to support her family, brothers and sisters. And when you get married, she is automatically gets 50% of what you make. Unless, now listen to this. Before you leave the United States get a prenup done professionally. It may cost you $2000 to $3000 to get a professional prenup document. But the minute the girl signs the prenup document with you.. Your new wife doesn’t have the right to 50% of your money. Nor does her family.. And of course this would save you thousand and one headaches later.

The problem starts when a guy rates women on a 1-10 scale. Beauty only. Big mistake. Actually you should rate 3-30. 1-10 Beauty 1-10 Character 1-10 Economics It takes 10 seconds to judge beauty. It takes a few months to gauge her economic status. It takes at least a year to judge her character. If you find a girl who is 8 beauty, 5 character, and 4 economics it would be best if you moved on.
