I call this the “Piece of My Love” phenomenon. You can’t have all of me because I’m not totally free. It’s easy to settle for that situation today, the question is how happy will that make you tomorrow if it remains unchanged?

Run. Run now! They don’t divorce bc they don’t want to!!!!! Just walk through the pain and get it over with. Girls do not give your heart to a married man. ( separated or not). They will hurt you. Period.

To be honest I did liked a man that was married but now separated but still married. His divorce has not finalized yet. Also he has moved out from his married home to a new place. he have ask me many times to come to his new place. but wasn’t ready to go there so now he said I play to many games and I was never series with him which wasn’t true at all. So now he has a new girlfriend that his In relationship with smh he said she the winner and am the loser omg 😳 wow so sad 😞

Thanks for your info! I finally walked away from a separated man. So many mixed messages. Turns out he is staying married so he can access pension money. She lives in Atlanta and he's in South Carolina. I am grateful to finally walk away. So toxic....

I had like a married man but now his separated but still married he has moved out from him married home 🏡 to his own place. I never went to far with him but we flirted. He has ask me to come to his new place many times but wasn’t ready yet. Now he has a néw girlfriend that his in a relationship with that he said that’s better than me. So now he said she’s the winner and I loss. Smh omg 😳 😞

This just happened to me. I connected with high school sweetie. We were each other's first. I connected because I seen his brother passed away. Long story short he is separated for 6 years. We agree to meet. That day he has a family emergency. So we meet later that night just to talk. It was extremely emotional for me as I needed closure from an incident. He wanted to start a relationship. He floods my brain with memories and then he kisses me. It felt too good. Tells me he wants to see me. The family emergency is that his wife is very ill and his kids want him to move her back in with him. The next day he calls and tells me not to call or text him. A complete 180 from the previous day and he will call me in a few days. I wait 5 days and reach out , confused, he sounds a bit annoyed, tells me she is moving back. I told him teary eyed that he kissed me and told me he wanted to see me. He said he will call me back. He was very empathetic. I left him a voice mail after about 4 hours that just isn't right. It's not fair to him, the wife or me. He is still married and I will not have relationship with a married man. We didn't end up speaking again. Still heartbroken from the complete change in his demeanor.

Him and his wife are still in love, if she didn't love him she wouldn't wabmnt him to nurse her, and vice versa, its very hard and complicated situation, i wish this lady will find enough courage to disentangle herself from this situation, else its going get worse

I’m in the same situation. What makes it even harder is that I work right across from this man. In a factory situation. We are both very attracted to each other. He has older children so that’s not a problem but he does still see his wife occasionally. It’s very hard.

A childhood friend wants to hang out with me during her separation and I keep saying no. Her marriage isn’t ending because of cheating or because of me. But I’m afraid if I allow her to hang out with me it will be used against her. We grew up down the road from each other and I was kinda like big brother to her. So it’s hard to tell her no. There is no sex or anything but I’m afraid simply hanging out with me will be used against her in the divorce. Am I wrong ?

A lot of states are no-fault divorce states, which means things like adultery don't matter in the divorce proceedings. However, if you're worried about the perception of cheating, maybe you could hang out with a group of common friends to support her.

I'm dating a man (a co-worker) who's been separated from his wife for 16 months. He started the divorce process about 1 month ago. They have no property, assets or children. They haven't spoken since he left her. He says he wants to marry me and things are going great so far. We've been together for 7 months now. I guess we'll see...

I had to edit my response just now because I was responding to what I thought was a comment on a post I left from another video, without reading it. 🤣 I was mentioning that every time we go out anywhere, he opens the car door for me and closes it once I'm in. 8 months later...he's still doing it! Most people are commenting to enjoy it, accept it and say 'thank you' and to show my appreciation. I do appreciate it, I just never understood why he did it in the first place. No guy ever has done that for me. Anyhow, in response to your question, he had the divorce papers officially served to her on July 10th (it took a bit longer to locate her) and she has 30 days to contest. August 10th is the magical date and we haven't heard anything back yet. 🤞They were married for 9 years, so I'm praying he won't owe a huge amount in alimony and that she won't go after his pension. If she did, they would take dollar for dollar off her disability, so it might not be in her best interest. 🤷‍♀️

Soo happy that your situation is going well. Unfortunately mine is like a lot of the others in that it started out great but now it's basically over. I was dating a separated woman who was 56 years old and married for 30 years. She told me she cares for me but to not wait for her. We dated for almost 8 months before things fell apart and the divorce proceedings got too intense. They share a house together and raised to children who are both grown up now in there late 20s. He is going after half her work pension. It's gotten very messy plus he refuses to work and she is paying all of the mortgage on the house. I feel for her soo much and love her. But this is why dealing with someone who is going through a divorce is not a good idea. I pray everyday for things to be finalized for her so she can be free of him and then her and I can be together but at this point I don't if it will ever happen and my best option is to move on. I've been trying to figure it out for months.

@@user-qy9ku7cj5v I'm so sorry to hear of your situation. Sadly, the longer they were married (anything over 20 years) means she will be paying him indefinitely, which is awful. I'm learning a lot through this process and am very grateful my boyfriend accumulated no assets or property and had no children during their 9 years. But, his ex could come after him for spousal support or his pension anytime in the future as well, is my understanding - even though she's not coming after him right now. She didn't respond when papers were served, so it is 'uncontested,' thankfully. The divorce order is being reviewed by the judge right now and we are waiting to hear back within the next month. Once finalized, the divorce will be official 31 days after that. He then has to present the divorce certificate to apply for a marriage license so we can get married. Everything should be said and done by Christmas. Your situation is much more complicated and again, I'm very sorry you're going through this. If you take this time right now to heal and work on yourself, her situation may be sorted out by the time you're ready to 'look' again and you can perhaps be together then. You seem to love her deeply. I just mean that if you are working on yourself, rather than actively seeking someone, maybe it won't seem like you're waiting for her and time will pass more quickly. All the best to you in whatever decision you make.

In this situation yes but in other situations no. Some men are separated for 7plus years and there are women like you who feel that man should continue to stand even if the wife has moved on with someone else. THATS CRAZY.

It doesn’t matter if you’re separated from your spouse for one year or 10 years.. separated does not mean divorced therefore the two of you are still in a marriage together and there’s no other way around it that’s gonna make that OK 🤷🏾‍♀️ also your stance pertaining to the wife moving on to somebody else actually has nothing to do Loretta’s comment in general.. it sounds like this is something very personal to you and maybe you’re projecting what you’ve gone through on somebody else but even if the wife does move on to somebody else that’s something that she and her “husband” need to figure out, that is if he finds out🤷🏾‍♀️

Totally agree. That is why God stated that revenge is His. I have always encouraged women to stay in their marriages despite the pain their husbands have done to them. And this is the basis " what God has yoked together let no man/woman put apart" meaning ONLY God holds the right to end a marriage In Malachi 2vs 16 Jehovah God has stated " For I hate divorce." This all means no matter what happens in your marriage not even the innocent party has the right to put apart what God has yoked together even though the man has done such evil against her. Women initiate divorces most times and they end up being alone for the rest of their lives because they have done what God hates and they end up being the ones punished the most when they take into their hands what they have no right to do. Then because the man has not divorced his wife even though he is the cause of the problems that led to his wife ending the marriage, he gets away with it by being blessed with another woman whilst the woman lives alone to death. I always advise women do not return evil for evil because you never know that the evil you return , you could pay severely for it. Divorce is the worst evil than adultery because it destroys generations as well. Hence, these women suffer the most. Our grandparents stayed in their marriages even though they faced what we face today. Pray for your husband before you pray for yourself so God can help him with wisdom. Maintain your integrity no matter what, it will get better in time. I know it. Allow for forgiveness at some point. Nothing is unforgivable. Even murderers get pardoned
