Hearing this after cutting dudes off after 1 wrong conversation makes me feel so much better. Was wondering if being turned off by a man spilling his lust, desires and carnal actions unto me before we even dated was wrong. I know now I wasn't wrong to be turned off and I'm glad I snipped that bud before it grew.

Same here... I had a guy claiming to be Godly but keep inviting me to watch movies in his house/bedroom but didn’t offer to take me on a proper date. & When we did meet up he had no plans which made me think of you have no plans or make no effort to impress me than my future with this man couldn’t be to orderly or worthwhile. I think he was willing to commit but I can’t do lazy men talking sexually early. These men want pictures yet have not plans to make you comfortable. This man also went on to encourage me to become a millionaire as if I’d help get him out of his rut and life with 5 children out of wedlock. Sweet guy but had to step out. I didn’t settle and ended up meeting a man that has been very gentlemanly and is a provider type.

Wow 22:65. I was in an abstinent relationship with someone in hopes of marriage. We were in what I percieved as courtship. I experienced that "tugging in my spirit" and could not understand why. Something kept disagreeing with the situation. This person said everything right, everything I seemingly prayed for yet I had that weird feeling. Even though I thought we were doing everything right by God. I kept praying and asking God for signs and waiting for a verbal answer. Again, there was confusion. I know that God is not the author of confusion but considering the circumstances, I believed this was from God. Recently I found out I was completely decieved by the person. "The voice of God is more of a feeling than it is a hearing or a knowing". Wow. I thank God for seeing this message now because I needed it. Iknow the holy spirit was internally warning me over an over.

B N'cole ... Sis ... I had the same exact experience. I felt something wasn’t right about him. It was so perfect, for months , he did Everything right. In my head, I wanted him to be the one because whom he presented to be. Sis just like you, I kept feeling this uneasy feeling in my core that he was sneaky. I would joke with him indicating that his spirit reminded me of a little bad kid. We would laugh about it. I kept asking God for clarity. We had gone on a weekend trip. On our way back, on the plane my phone died. He offered me his phone and his password to play games while he naps. Out of nowhere I just went straight to his messages, which I had no intention on checking his phone. I was so caught up in that persona. It felt like God was intervening. Sis , I found a slew of messages between him and multiple women. When I confronted him, he said, if he didn’t love me why would he give me his password. This was God’s work. Clearly he was lying. He kept asking me why would he give me his password? It’s like he couldn’t believe he did it. God is SO good sis.. smh I know this is a long post, but thanks for sharing your experience. It feels good getting this off my chest. God bless you sis😊

This is true for me. I used to ignore the gut feeling that would tell me something is wrong about who I was dating at the time. The gut feeling/Holy Spirit would even tell me exactly was was on about that person but I never asked in fear of getting what I feared, the TRUTH! As a result I had many failed relationships. But ever since I cut off sex about 2 years ago, I have been able to discern things and also make the right choices. It has also helped me to work on my weaknesses (emotionally).I really want to date smartly. This video has been a blessing to me and so have your other videos. Thank you Pastor Blakes! OH MY GOD!!! You have hit my last relationship head on.That tugging of the spirit is real Pastor as I witnessed it first hand. Every single time I was around that man, the Holy Spirit would tug, pull and almost push me away from him, but my flesh was weak for that man and I allowed him to continue to feed off my flesh. Everytime I was with him, that uncomfortable feeling you are talking about would come over me. That feeling would leave the moment we were apart, but will soon return when I was with him. Until one day, God spoke to me and said: this man isn't sent by me. It hit me so hard to where I couldn't stop thanking God, while crying out loud at the same time (while driving to meet him one day). Needless to say, the relationship was ended on that day and I've been celibate ever since and since my celibacy, so many other things have been made clear to me about my relationship with God and my being single. I know now it is not time for my husband to find me because God is still preparing me for that man of God.

Pastor Thank you for this teaching. I’ve watched this video about 3 times now and I’ve been religiously learning from you and reading my bible almost everyday for the past 4 months. I’m in my early thirties and I have been feeling really broken down from an extremely toxic relationship with a man who I feel suffers from Borderline Personality disorder along with severe narcissism. The constant lies, gaslighting and manipulation has had me so afraid to trust people, particularly men. You have truly been a blessing in my life and I continue to learn from you so that I can live the life that God has ordain for me. Thank you for everything!

Sister stay strong and keep your focus on God and his word. I too was in a relationship with a guy who was narcissist and were going to marry .However, his mask fallen off ,I later on realize he love bombed me devalued and discarded me after he accomplished his mission off of my hard work . It's been 2 years since I last seen him. I am in a better place mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

My daughter just shared one of your videos and I am blowed away. Women today need to hear the biblical truth from a man's perspective. So often we are willing to settle for less than what God has for us because we don't want to wait. This video has really blessed my soul. I had chosen to wait for the Lord to send my next husband and in the waiting no sex, its been 6 years, many of my friends say I'm crazy, but I say it will be worth my wait. I know God has someone special just for me, and if He choose not to send me a mate then I have accepted that also. God has a work for the single people just like He does for the married couple. Amen Pastor that was a good word I needed to hear. I was in a relationship for 3yrs and soon as I cut down on the sex he didnt want to be with me anymore ,so I got to see the true him, every now and then he will come back trying to talk to me to see where I'm at in my life, because i stopped dating for awhile..but every time he comes back around the Holy Spirit lets me know he still hasn't changed. #comeonholyspirit. #aint fallingforitanymore..

I have been using this definition. I have dated several men since my divorce. My friends always ask “what was wrong with him?” Then they will say “you find something wrong with everyone”. Instead of disclosing red flags to my friends, I state all the good qualities then state we agreed we were not meant to be a romantic couple.

Pastor you are definitely right!!! You hit it right on the nail. 100% right. I am a woman that knows this now. I have learned so much from my experiences and listening to you. Every woman that is listening to this must take heed and really hear the words that are coming out of your mouth if they want to be right with God and if they want to meet the right guy. There is a time for stupidity and ignorance. But then there’s that time to stop fooling around and quit letting these men have their way. Because in the end women are the ones that end up hurt the most. It’s time to make room for men and not boys. And honestly I think that women spend too much time and energy worrying about relationships. Let go and let God. Keep up the good work Pastor. I have been listening to you for about 6 months and I understand things so much better and am actually satisfied in my life right now. I am focusing on me and am ok being single. In fact I am enjoying it. I believe God will send me what I need and when I need it.

Pastor Blakes, I am challenging the mindset of many of my friends by dating with my intellect before allowing myself to get emotionally attached. I don't believe dating has to be synonymous with sex, but it appears to be the consensus for many in the church. Thankfully the leaders in my church do not subscribe to this. I have been so free in my heart/mind and have not given place to foolishness with this approach. I said before that I've learned much through experience, but I am so blessed to hear these teachings and be able to discuss with others.
