Galanor with deadfall’s just funny. Hit a big crowd, hit a single enemy and you instantly get 50% of your meter + more recharge from damaging those enemies, it’s literally Orpheus Rig with a disguise mustache.

Warlocks got fries and no nugs. Titans got the toy and no food. Hunters got the full happy meal, a free big mac, and a shake.

Haven’t told this to anyone but heart of Inmost light on hunter paired with smoke bomb keeps the buff at 5 seconds for as long as your smoke bomb deals damage to something, I pair with spirit of coyote and gamblers dodge and winters shroud and duskfield for a really good debuff spam build.

Inmost + Coyote goes hard if you love using Threaded specter over Stylish and won't utilize the stealth melee bonus. With the frost aspect to gain increased class energy on slowing enemies (not just from the aoe slow) and the increase class energy via the fragment when you have a buff? You almost always have a Threaded specter out and another charge (or close to 2) to use on demand, all feeding into Inmost.

I have been having a lot of fun with Galanor/Verity. Juiced super gains on big tethers and then a massive GPG to clear the room. Also running Threaded Blast on top of it so I can sometimes stick the GPG to the Tangle, pop it with The Call and then big ol’ combo boom.

Inmost + Cyrtarachne has been my life blood since I happened upon it. Even if you don't do the 'half charge grapple' combo, it's still an insane 'just constantly go in' tool that you can couple with Ascention to just actually fly. Just go in with grapple, unravel everything, ascend, jolt everything, throw a threaded spike, sever everything. Just make sure the enemy takes constant everything damage while you are literally immortal the whole time, popping in and out of invis to grab orbs to keep your DR heavy ass topped off. Coupling it with Silence and purpose gives you the frost armor while you do it too, making it just a super tanky combo that can even tank champs and bosses in GM's, while still spamming abilities constantly as you don't need kills AT all to keep yourself going. It's just a fully self sufficient build that just gets better with kills for Recuperation and Frost Armor, it just feels really good and I'd very much recommend it if people get lucky with drops.

Glad you mentioned foetracer/gyrfalcon. I’ve really been enjoying this combo with deathbringer and the new competitive auto with repulsor brace. I see myself using it for a while, or until I get some of the other combos I want.

Weird how thus far I haven't seen anyone talk about how lucky pants is insane on prismatic when solar used to be the go-to. The numbers I get without sacrificing the ability to clear rooms is insane Marksman's Dodge + Winter's Shroud & Stylish Executioner + Purpose, Courage, Balance, Dominance, Dawn + Withering Blade + Magnetic Grenade + Warden's Law & Graviton Lance (Courage is so-so, I mostly have it for the stats so you could swap it for Solitude)

Gosh I’m still mad hunters quite literally pound for pound got useful exotic perks, warlocks only lost out due to star fire, how the heck did titan not get one eyed mask, rockets, and even nerfed severance enclosure but allow calibans to run around with ignitions. How?

In Most + almost anything is great. Combo with Coyote for absurd ability uptime, combo with verity and gunpowder gamble for insane add clear, combo with gyrfalcon for great neutral game, combo with cryrachne for safety, combo with synthos for a lot of grapple melee damage.

I don't have the famed Calibans/Liar roll. I don't have any Inmost Light rolls yet. But after running with a Galanor/Gyrfalcons roll I can't say I truly need another exotic class item because that thing is perfect for me.

so this is of course entirely anecdotal, but I must say a few things about my experiences with prismatic hunter (specifically in GMs, Master dungeons, etc) ; Overview: I have been trying to master a particular build that I haven't seen *that much* attention on. The goal of the build is to maximize both survivability and versatility. This is achieved with many different layers of synergy coming together. To summarize, Inmost/Cyrtarachne in combination with threaded spike, ascension, transcendence, galvanic armor, and facet of protection provides a dare I say diabolical amount of tankiness. Couple that with a Red Death or Buried Bloodline and optimally a Speaker's Sight warlock and you essentially dance around the battlefield stunning any champion in your path and bullying most enemies completely. Ascension: So maybe im just late to the party, but this aspect is absolutely bonkers for so many different things. It feels like such an unbelievably versatile tool to have given you can provide amplified to your entire fireteam, proc'ing galvanic for anyone using it, jolt enemies (stunning any overloads), and of course get an extra mobility tool. The largest downside is that using ascension unfortunately nonbos with Inmost, as it does not activate it. Though this can be overlooked with the staggering uptime that can still be achieved. GPG: I never really got much usage out of this aspect on solar hunter, but it feels really good on prismatic especially in combination with Cyrtarachne as it does provide you with woven mail. Of course the other major upside is the versatility of it when paired with Duskfield as you have an area denial crowd control option or a burst damage option. So overall GPG is just extremely useful for having incredibly woven mail uptime. Threaded Spike: Certain individuals may be inclined towards Withering Blade particular given that two charges is useful for Inmost uptime. Respectfully those people are grievously mistaken. Threaded spike can sever an entire room of (up to 10) enemies in one go, lopping off a staggering 40% damage of anything it hits. This can apply even to enemies shielded by barrier servitors. The ability to catch it also gives it very very good uptime. thats about the gist of the build, there are some other elements at play of course but largely it comes down to preference.

caliban gyrfalcon with threaded spike has be my favorite, been trying to get buried bloodline which is what i really wanna use for the build. gonna be super fun and unkillable hopefully in endgame stuff

My main build atm is spriti of renewal and spriti of gyrfalcon. Weapon wise i run with mountaintop, void auto with repulsor brace and leviathans breath Pair that with duskfield nade and withering shroud as well as stylish executioner and the "dodge and slow enemies" aspect and you have i very nice pve build for almost all activities

Galanor + Syntho with stasis nade,spike strand melee and tether will let you solo GM's quickly. Weapons i like to combine is witherhoard,elemental anti champion weapon and b&s heavy weapon. Galanor will refund half my tether and syntho will double my needle melee ability damage. Inmost light is not needed in my setup because i can infinitely farm transcendence for prismatic nade, stasis one is just for champs.

Titan: you can melee and do barricade stuff Warlocks: you get grenades, necrotic stuff and mega super Hunter: you get everything and it’s all better than everyone else’s stuff. Bungie really appealing to the most popular class by qty I see.

Shoutout to Inmost Light + Liar's Handshake with grapple, because the grapple melee TRIGGERS CROSS COUNTER and ALSO counts as both a grenade AND melee, triggering x2 Empowerment and about 50% of your grenade back after grapple-punching and then also Liar's punching.

caliban/liars is the best for combo blow, caliban/syntho only gives 30% increased melee damage from syntho when paired with combo blow, but grants full 165% when not paired with combo blow. So it’s great with Navi grapple point, one-two punch, and grapple melee set up. As for galanor I did some testing, it works great with silence and squall, silkstrike, and storms edge but for Golden Gun you can only get 25% of your super back and for tether galanor works a bit differently with for some reason. Galanor thinks the super ends when your super meter reaches 0 after casting tether, it takes like 2-3s for your super meter to reach 0 after casting tether. So you only have a 2-3s window to get 50% back. Which is fine if you can tether a decent group of ads all the time. But for me personally I like Orpheus rigs better just because it’s retroactively giving me super as it’s tethering ads. Star Eater for hunter isn’t that great because I feel like it’s meant for one and done supers for damage. Like blade barrage and gathering storm. And I can just use Star eater scales for that. As for renewal/cyrtarachne it’s pretty decent, used it in flawless salvations edge run, used it up until witness. It did well and it was a nice change of pace, but you could use something else and be fine

Renewal+Liars is just so consistent for defense and offense power for Combination Blow builds.

Worth noting to others that galanor doesnt work with tether 'properly' as its based on hits and nit tethered targets. So its best used on squal. Sadly the aparent orpheus / gylfalcons combo isnt possible for an all in one master void build which is what i wanted from that combo.

Calibans + gyrfalcons is honestly incredible, if you use graviton lance, gunpowder gamble and threaded spike its like explosion galore

Galanor / Cyrtarachne has been a favorite, used with Silence/Squall and Grapple. Galanor works based on hits/connections so it works with Silence/Squall and Tether. I usually get 50% back always. Having a quick damage resist on demand with Cyrt saves my life a lot. Especially paired with grapple for quick escapes. It's a utility combo

Idk if anyone’s done any official testing on this but the cyrtarachne/renewal combo is bugged right now. Although you’ll have frost armor and woven mail at the same time, if you were the one to apply both to yourself then only the first buff you got will work. To get the benefits of both you have to have someone else run renewal (to give you the frost armor) or navigator or into the fray (to give you woven mail)

Inmost Light + Cyrtarachne's is what I was grinding for and oh boy does it perform

Hunting for Cyrtarachne alone and landed on the Renewel/Cyr combo. The survivability is pretty unreal through the whole grenade build.

Note: Foetracer Gyrfalcon synergize together, because volatile is considered an ability so it procs foetracer, and then with stylish every kill will make you invis making for an almost indefinite uptime on volatile and x4 weapon surge

Caliban Liar givesme the same feeling of overpowered unkillable ad-clear machine as sunbracer before the nerf

I like using assassin/verity. It gives me invisibility without stylish, which I like using with threaded spike or withering blade; finishers also proc invisibility (you can get 16 whole seconds of invisibility if you finish a champion). On the other end, I use verity for my grenade: gunpowder gamble gets a massive buff and I use grapple as well, which also benefits + procs assassin

Man the devs are hunter mains without any doubts.

My first class item was assassin/gyrfalcon, but the one I’ve been using the most is galanor/cyrtarachne. Getting woven mail just for throwing a grenade and then getting half my super energy back after using it had just felt super strong with the builds I’ve been using. Looking forward to using my ophidian/wormhusk one in PvP

I have a Foetracer/Liars and im thinking about it being specifically useful for Acrius stuff. Havent tried it out, but in theory it sound super good for the bosses, where Acrius cooks.

I got a HoiL/Gyrfalcon one and I LOVE it, it's super fun to use what's basically just a Gyrfalcon build with juiced ability regen

one of my favorites has been cyrt/caliban to get a good mix of add clear and survivability by just using my abilities, and it goes crazy with transcendence. Still hunting for galanor/stareater, but all in all, Ive thought these class items have been super neat. Actually been enjoying the grind which is a nice change of pace.

Cytrachne and Caliban go hard together on grapple, as ignitions count on your grapple melee. Mod for max grenade and its a fun time.

Galanor + Star Eater absolutely COOKS with Silence and Squall for high-tier add-clear encounters, such as 1st Encounter Master Challenge for KF. Very effective to have a tornado for every plate, which helps with adds, unstoppable champs (from the slow building up to a freeze and shatter) and building darkness energy while you spam any light affinity weapon of your choice to clear the remaining adds and fill light meter.

I use renewal/cyrtorachne and the absurd defence combos real well with my gpg/perfect 5th ergo sum build. with ergo sum as the builds main weapon, the extra tankiness facilitates the (primarily) cqb nature of the build. combo that with the swords catalyst to recharge special ammo and you're essentially playing a fantasy action/adventure character in an FPS.

Im a huge fan of renewal and galanor in column 1 so basically Renewal / star eater or galanor / gyrfalcon are what i use most.

Strongly suggest nobody even attempt using the exotic class item with Wormhusk in PvP, it's just not remotely worth it. OG full strength Wormhusk provides 67 HP on class ability usage. "a small health and shield bump", which is somewhere around 1/4th of your HP bar. I don't have the exact HP value for the class item version but it appears to be quite a bit less HP, at which point imo it REALLY doesn't feel worth using in general.

ive been using Galanor and Star Eater for most of my prismatic builds. i’ve also got Inmost Light and Cyrtarachne. honestly hunting for the Caliban/Liar combo so i can throw that on with ascension, combination blow, the stasis dodge ability (forget the name,) and silence and squall

7:23 Galanor/Gyrfalcons was actually my 1st Class Item godroll, but for some reason I seem to be struggling a lot to make the Galanor perk actually work properly when I'm on Tether. Silence and Squal seem to be much more consistent for some reason

I love coyote just because of how much I love the new ascension aspect, and having 2 pops of it on a short cooldown is super fun to me. Grinded a lot until I got one class item with caliban and coyote and i love it

I've been having a ton of fun with my Caliban/Gyrfalcon cloak. I've been taking advantage of threaded spike like Datto mentions but then using Gyrfalcon with Recluse to get extra debuff kills for even faster GPG and more light transcendence energy. Probably one of the most fun ad clear builds I've done in a little bit.

Vaults. Goes back to using stomp Eez.

Just to lyk that although probably a bug wormhusk has been giving less than 10 hp in pvp. My roll was dragon+wormhusk and it’s not even consistent. Sometimes I’ll get about 2 and sometimes I’ll get 10. I’ve heard quite a few people report this on Reddit so hopefully it’s a bug that’ll get fixed

I think caliban + liars is way overrated: Yes, it clears adds like a beast, but you are not getting the combination blow stacks as fast as you would like to. Using liars is already a perfect add clear exotic cause it gives you damage and you become invisible from the void aspect, and it is easier to obtain your 3 combination blow stacks to kill a champion, for example. Unless you're speedruning or going solo in a dungeon or raid, where enemies constantly spawn, I doubt you will be able to keep up the combination blow every time you need it. Instead, I consider Galanor + Liars the best combo, that way you can obtain more supers to help you stun enemies or clear adds that you cannot punch.

I've been using Caliban verity with gpg and threaded spike and it's very fun

a note: syntho does not play well with combination blow and gets significantly reduced scaling. syntho is more useful for pretending you're a BoW titan and doing grapple melee spam with navigator and ikelos shotgun, except instead of banner of war you have a tether which can cause some serious netcode chunking

SOIL and Cyrth is my current GM build for a tether hunter. Threaded spike and grapple of course. I debate between stylish, winter, and GPG, all have their place. I think it depends on overload for me, to have winter's shroud or not

Something I think people are sleeping on is foetracer with liars. It works insanely well with combination blow and legend of acrius and deals massive burst dmg to close range targets.

Renewal grasps/inmost light is CRACKED.

Coyote inmost is good for threadling spam which helps gpg cuz 1 threadling kill gives you full gpg

Titans so bad I switched this season excuse me "this episode" 😂 I'm glad I got armentarium with heart of inmost, but shelfed titan since trying hunter and it's not even close and they aren't getting nerfed anytime soon by the feel of it, so consider me a hunter main I know this is false but God damn it feels like a dev mains hunter over there at bungo lmao

We had to have a good perk set to try and get us to wear that horribly ugly cloak. Fashion is the true endgame.

I keep getting weak-ass rolls that, while they have nice synergy, are extremely boring. Two of my rolls are just dodge-centered and don't do much. Not bad by any means, but they're literal sleeper picks since I'm struggling to stay awake while using them.

I keep saying it elsewhere, I'll say it here too so that hopefully more people see it; underselling Renewal/Liars is criminal. (Initially I favored renewal/synth, but now that we know synth is nerfed with combi, liars is way better) Caliban's ignitions kill so much stuff around you, you don't have enough time to get more triggers of your hands-on, dynamo & bomber mods from dodge-punching, meaning you are HURTING your ability regen loop. Additionally, the build already struggles with darkness transcendence, even with the fragment - calibans doesn't help this issue. This season, we have Shieldcrush, meaning you get good benefits for having frost armor or woven mail that give your melee 25% more damage. Instead of running SnS or silkstrike (imagine running silkstrike on this build 💀) you instead have the freedom to run golden gun, which gives you resto on orb pickup using the fragment (you also have melee kill health regen fragment, but resto is uninterruptible and STACKS with the health regen fragment). Golden gun is also just good high damage ranged burst (and enables a nighthawk swap w/ still hunt for dps). You can do all this because renewal is giving you consistent frost armor from duskfields. (If we had cytr 3rd column, I'd take it every day of the week over renewal. But we can't have that, so renewal it is.) You are more consistent with your transcendence, you get more triggers of your armor mods around the dodge-punch loop, you have the damage resistance that helps keep you alive the times you aren't invisible, you proc Shieldcrush consistently, you have resto on every orb pickup and access to the best DPS super/weapon combo if you swap during dps. Cali/Liars is fun. Stop tunnel visioning. There's more effective ways to live that get you a lot more value.

1) Star-Eater + Galanor sound good on paper, but then you realise that you can only use it on prismatic, so your supers are kinda not made for that combo perk. The only good one off super we have is Golden Gun which you use with Celestial, not Star-Eater. Increasing dmg on tether in pointless, Storm's Edge pve dmg is piss (bungo please nerf it in pvp but buff in PvE i beg ye), Silkstrike is somewhat okay, but you will do more dmg with weapons than a Star-Eater roaming super. There is a niche case for Silence and Squall, but only if we at some point get a boss with no crit spot for Goldy. Still, its damage is negligeble, and you usually use it for add clear, not the damage it does. 2) assasin is pretty pointless as well, unless you wanna run with no stylish, but bungo made each class around the idea that you kinda have to always take that 2 fragment aspect (stylish, Feed the Void, Knockout) 3) You don't take synthos with combo blow, because it has anti synergy. Basically, you'd do more dmg with x3 combo blow itself, rather than x3 combo blow + synthos. Synthos are mostly used for grapple melee. 4) My personal funny roll is caliban + verity with GPG and Threaded spike. Room-go-Kaboom.

Renewal/Cyrt allows you to be a better tank than Titan!

Mamaged to get my hands on a kaliban star-eater cloak. Goes pretty hard in raids with comfortable add clear and high damage super for bosses. Its just a shame with how the cloak looks like unicorn puke
