Sarah as I always say children don’t come with instructions. We do the best we can. Sometimes the eldest can be difficult don’t ask me why she is resentful of something and you will never know. My mum was awful with me even when I never did anything out of being terrified. Never had a party or anything like that but my brothers did. It’s took me 13 years of being back with Dave to put her straight and tell her straight if she says owt out of line with me. Troy gets things but not everything and I say appreciate what you have because there’s children who go without all the time. Hope things get sorted xxx

Spoil your kids as they grow up ... this is what you get back. I’ve never understood people who have kids and struggle financially..... deciding to have more kids ????? Stupid in my eyes ! Big point is they are your daughters kids ... not yours . She will , quite rightly, decide when you see them . My middle son has a girlfriend who is exactly like this . They don’t have kids yet , thankfully, but have 3 dogs who they seem to think everyone else should look after them . Never, ever overstretch yourself because it doesn’t benefit you or your kids. People are different and so are their views and opinions.

I wish my mom wanted to see my children. I’m 24 and she doesn’t want to see them I’ve begged her to see them. It’s nice to see someone that wants to see their grandchildren xx

Hi Sarah I know exactly what you mean I have a son like that who is jealous of the relationship I have with my grandchildren they are the only three I will have from my daughter my younger son is gay and the older one is with a woman with older kids and he is the one with the problem he has upset a lot of people but it supposed to be my fault I’m 60 now and don’t know how long I’ve got left and I refuse to spend it worrying about what he thinks of me and if that makes me a bad parent then so be it I’ve tried and will never win like you I’ve always put my kids first but they forget that sending love xx

Sarah please please don't feel worthless because it's so OBVIOUS you are an amazing parent to all your children each one of the other kids are so loving,kind,well behaved (in sure they have they're moments whose dont) but they are so respectful and living to both you save and each other.They are well looked after and always look so well presented clean tidy well dressed(even parents with 1 child don't do that) those kids are your whole world and everything you do is for all of them so do not for a single second think that it is something you ever did or didn't do and unfortunately for unknown reasons some people (relatives) have their problems and behaviours,lives that you can never change no matter what you try and do you will never change how they are.I would love to know why in families children who've been raised the same had the same lives but just turn out completely different and turn into somebody you don't like.I know it must break your heart because at the end of the day she is your daughter but like you say I think now you have to stop trying and let her live own life and just make sure you get to see your grand kids.Like I said your doing everything right it shows in all your other kids and this may sound silly but just watching the blog the other day when you were at the supermarket buying stationary comeback to school everyone joined in even Imogen and Liam all saying what they thought Mason or Alfie and Oscar needed I just felt it was so lovely and heartwarming all talking together and choosing stuff for them and what they would want,not just standing there moaning or not caring now that's a loving family who all care about each other and that's all that matters.Sending love ❤❤❤❤

Am so sorry you have to go through this. I hate when people stop grandparents seeing there grandkids. I have 2 kids and sadly my mum is not here anymore. I would do anything for her to see them. I really hope you get to see them soon. Please don’t get to stressed, it’s not good for you or bump 💕💕

I have the same problem as you I have 1 son who has 3 children the youngest I have never seen I related to lots that you was saying . I had cancer of the food pipe which was touch and go my husband was working fall time a 12 hour aday coming to see me in hospital which I stayed for 6 weeks and my son was pretending to fit so he could get attention plus when I told him I had cancer he called me a liar I cry alot cause I can't see my grandkids my son is 35 don't know what to do next good luck xxx

I’m trying to catch up on friends’ videos I have missed the past few weeks as I was mourning the passing of my dear brother . I’ve just watched this one Sarah & it had me in tears. I’m not going to say too much about what’s going on for you because I don’t believe it is my place to do that, but I do know what an amazing mum you are and how much you love every single one of your kids & you would move heaven & earth to ensure they were ok & nothing could harm them. I also know how much you adore your grandchildren as do all their aunties & uncles (& of course Dave). So I know how heartbroken you will be feeling to not see them or have them with you 🥺 Whatever is going on inside Chelsea’s head, I hope she comes to her senses very soon & sees how much she is depriving her children but not only that, she is losing the wonderful support of her mum & step dad and this time cannot be made up. I don’t doubt that Chelsea has made herself believe she is in the right. I just pray she realises sooner rather than later the damage she is causing. It’s never too late to start rebuilding that relationship cos we only have one mum and when that mum is someone as lovely & caring as your mum is Chelsea, you really don’t want to lose that. I think you have been really brave and really strong sharing this with us all. As a mother i felt your pain as you spoke about this and my heart went out to you. Try not let this stress you out too much I know its easy for me to say that but you have that precious little rainbow in your belly and you need to take it easy. Aww Sarah this is a hard watch and I can relate on so many points, I had my first son young he’s 22 now and I was so immature when I look bk and I have the best parents ever but I was so mean to my mum never know why but she said I’m not taking this you will need me before I need you and how right she was she always said no your own self worth and this is so true you should not put up with Chelsea been like that yes your her mum and will always love her but should not be treated like dirt either, if I say something my son don’t like he says I’m going home don’t ring me and all the other stuff but he always gets bk in touch. I beat my self up so much for how mean I was to my mum but now she’s my best friend and I see her amazing qualities and humour. so keep strong Sarah your doing the right thing you love her and that’s all that matters..xx

I’m so sorry you’re dealing with this situation, it’s clear how painful it is & I’m so glad you mentioned taking legal action to fight for them, it’s clear you’ve got the right mindset with those babies as your priority, making reports against your daughter can’t have been an easy decision but just goes to show how well you’re handling this. I know you mentioned concerns about how the babies are being looked after & how you aren’t keen on her boyfriend, do you think there’s any chance he could be influencing her behaviours at all, or mistreating her? it’s clear this isn’t new or sudden but some of the things you mentioned did stand out to me in that way. I really hope you get to see those little ones soon & the best decision is made for them, have you thought about going to therapy to help you cope with the stress of the situation & a way to be able to vent? sometimes talking to someone outside of your circle can really help, I wish you & those sweet kids nothing but the best & I hope chelsea manages to realise what she’s got before it’s too late

Wow Sarah I can not believe your own daughter is putting you through this...I think she needs help...its not normal behaviour for a grown ass female to act like this! Them kiddies deserve to have a family uncles,aunties and grandparents who love the bones of them kiddies....why is she so hell bent on making you and you alone suffer?
