I was in a band that toured with these guys. Half the time, they were an unstoppable force of explosive genius. The other half the dates they’d either not show, or have to run from the law halfway through the set when someone called the pigs cause he had his cock out.🤷‍♂️ They’re way more ....psychologically stable now. And arguably just as good.

Man. I was in a band that opened for them on a leg of this tour. 50% of the time it was sheer genius. 25% of the time they wouldn’t show. The other 25% is exactly what happened in this video.

Still one of my favorite bands of all time hands down. So very grateful they’re still carrying the torch for weird chaotic creative music fans everywhere. (Check out Prissy Whip’s 2019 “swallow” record. Kinda like daughters but with the girl from melt banana singing.

I was a massive daughters fan and still love it from time to time. But when lingua came forward i wasnt surprised and starting getting real uncomfortable listening to daughter. I still dip in from time to time but it feels me with a serious disgust.

It’s fucking unbelievable. So many bands reform but don’t have the original genius they used to. I swear these guys got better! And Hell Songs is one of my favorite albums ever. They’re in the studio now. Can’t WAIT to see what they do next. I was in a band that opened for them on a leg of this tour, they were explosively brilliant, but they had to ditch early on in the set cause of the nudity thing bout 25% of the time. I NEVER thought such a combustible band could not only survive the chaotic state they were in at this point, but get leaner and meaner and better.
