I totally agree and I don't normally like remix but this is absolutely phenomenal and I couldn't picture anybody but Chris Daughtry and this woman doing such a phenomenal job. I like Chris Daughtry he's got a great voice and he's a wonderful musician and I figured if anybody could do a good job with this song he would and they knocked it out of the park

Steve Perry is a very humble man. I think he considers it an honor that an artist would cover his music. And, like you had mentioned bring this music back to the forefront for the generation of today to enjoy. With a Punch! It was fantastic! You should check out Seperate Ways live in Tokyo. This is (for me) one of the two best songs about separation and longing. The other one is "Cold" by Chris Stapletone. But that's only my opinion. Of course there are so many songs about unrealized love but these lyrics and infusing music just takes over our emotions. As it has taken yours too in this reaction. I loved hearing it the first time you reacted to it and loved hearing it again and actually seeing them perform this time. Absolutely fantastic version of Journey's song, Lzzy and Daughtry just killed it! 💥

This was amazing!! Daughtry and Lzzy have definitely taken the song and modernized it!! And it’s just an amazing song that they have created by adding their influences to it. Seeing them perform it live like this is definitely the icing on the cake and invokes so much feeling. Great reaction!!💕

Seperate Ways was always one of my favorite Journey songs. I never thought you could improve on a masterpiece…. Until I heard THIS version!

💥💥💯💥💥 on fire 🔥🔥 I don't have much to add and I agree 💯. Seeing them live is definitely just a completely different experience. Their voices complement each other so well. I love Chris daughtry's voice and he is not Steve Perry but he's doing a darned good job with this song. It's really really good and I could not imagine anyone Else singing this song as well as Chris!! He should have won American idol versus coming in fourth place but he was the only one in the top four that actually got record deals and became famous. That was no surprise to me at all but I expected him to get into the finals. Overall it just depends on what people like most and I thought he was absolutely freaking fantastic and much better than the other three. The universe and God has a plan for everybody and apparently the plan for Chris Daughtry is that he was going to make records and be famous on his own without getting the record deal with American Idol. Only a few winners have gone on to be successful winning American idol and one was Kelly Clarkson the first winner . Jordin Sparks did pretty good but nowhere near as popular is Kelly. Carrie Underwood one and she's done exceptional.

Great one Sumer! So Taylor Hicks what are YOU doing now? (the winner of American Idol the season Chris Daughtry placed 4th) Don't know Lzzy Hale but she can sing! Chris is looking as fine as ever. Always liked his voice. The combo is great! Love the grit they added to the song.
