Thought you meant Foxworthy. Had to go back and check. Lol. Is J. Ross actually racist? I know he can be brutal, but I dont recall anything that was just outright prejudice or intended to be taken to heart. Then again, I havent watched all of his stuff, so I can't be sure either way.

As someone who is mixed. The people I look up to are black men. Richard Pryor, Dave Chappelle, Mike Tyson, Mohammad Ali. These men despite the color of their skin, defied the odds and became great cause they could. See the person, not the skin. God bless them all.

To me, there is nothing more alluring & captivating than watching/listening to a wise, knowing & balanced man share their thoughts and experiences through recollection or a story-like cadence. It's such a rewarding experience. When such an experience is delivered by a shrewed, percipient comic like Dave Chappelle, it becomes something very special. Comedy (the art of) is not just entertainment... It is a vital, soul resuscitating art form that, like music & visual arts, fills a void in our HUMAN lives. It's anything from an ice cold soft-drink for our souls - that tickles on the way down, to a stumbled upon flotation device in a torment sea of hate. Comics are, in essence, burden bearers. OUR burden bearers... which is why I'm so saddened & sickened by the shit show - the fuckin horror show - they've put Dave Chappelle through! For Dave Chappelle to have such a presence on stage ( wise & percipient), the 'behind-the-scenes' truth is that he must have been run through the ringer! I could go on about how he's been disgraced & how unfair it is... but instead, I'll just say how great it is to see him back in his element...his home - Even if the light in is eyes has dimmed a little & he seems a bit owlish & sobered. The man is a goddamn treasure & I have a tremendous amount of respect for him!! it must be hard being the greatest - even more difficult when you've EARNED that title. But damn..it must feel good to be sticking it to these bastards! Good for you, Dave!

Damn strait! I've always liked Chapelle's comedy even though I don't necessarily agree with him. It's f-ing funny. This is true and only funny because Chapelle is saying it. The true liberal line that used to be their motto is "I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend your right to say it" which unfortunately seems to be dieing in America today.

That isn't the liberal motto, it's the conservative one. I've never heard someone who agrees with liberal ideology agree with the first amendment, everything that liberal ideology stands for is against the first and second amendment. Conservatives are the ones that will protect you from being censored and protect your right to protest and protect your right to self preservation. It's very possible that you might line up more with conservative values than you think. Todays liberals will disown you if you believe the right to free speach or the right to own guns.
