That was a large part of K-Von's point. It's a bit ironic that the commenter who said you were like the lady in the video is behaving *exactly* like the lady in the video herself... K-Van's comedy proves that you don't need to rely on profanity or vulgarity to make people laugh. This style of comedy is more demanding, requiring wit, preparation, and well-crafted material. In contrast, comedians who use coarse language from the outset often take the easy way out. I believe that anyone can make people laugh by using vulgar language, but true comedic skill lies in being clever and refined. It's more difficult to make people laugh without resorting to low-brow humor, but the rewards are greater.

This is what Ricky Gervais was talking about when he says comedy can come from either a place of love or a place of hate - this guy's jokes cover topics that a lot of people would be scared to talk about, but he tells the jokes from a place of love and acceptance and it shows through his delivery and word choice. It's not about "making fun of" people, its about "laughing with" people. Loved the material, delivery was smooth and natural, physical comedy was dead on. Absolute pleasure to watch and hopefully I'll see more, soon! :D

Comedy shouldn’t be something is coming from a place of love or whatever that is considered as place of “hate” because all of those things are subjective to every individuals. Comedy is an art form just as much as music, drawing, poetry, and paintings are. And like every single one of those individual forms, a person creating them or what’s funny in this case are creating from perceptions of people or group in real life, or anything they fond comical, but we (comedians, and yes I am one of them) can’t do that with the level of freedom with the amount or with the KIND of jokes we’re making, whether it’d be about race and stereotypes, or personal things affecting us JUST LIKE an art form. Now I haven’t heard the reference you were making with what Ricky Jer said, but it sounded to me like he was saying what I’m saying in this here post: which is comedy SHOULDN’T matter on the kind of place it’s coming from, as long as it’s meant to be funny to someone even if it’s just funny only to the comic making them. I don’t know what you do for a living or if you have EVER take a step on a stage, but nowadays comics has to deal with these overdramatic and easily triggered audience that is coming from MY GENERATION: the millennial. If you want to get a better perspective on how audience of comedy has pathetically changed over the years which is from not easily offended to now taking it to twitter or BLOG or articles and write about how INSENSITIVE a joke is go watch how comics free talked back in the early 2k with partially-scripted (for the host or during an act or a play they have comics do on the show with Collin Quinn.

As a man I didn’t even crack a smile. He was simply commenting on the observations of the mundane. Flitting between the wafer thin boundaries of the metrosexual/camp persona. He didn’t really say anything outright funny, but heavily relied upon a routine consisting of comedic voices and mannerisms. If you analyse the content, juxtaposed alongside delivery you can see the appeal to women. His target audience. If he were to perform in an all male environment he would have been abysmal. I’m not being critical, as he made his target responsive, ultimately, he made them laugh. There was nothing risqué, which is why he lacks appeal to straight men. Oh, the blind gag was as close as it got. I like blind dates. You can stare at their tits.

I have to say I loved his jeans…that “real men wear cargo pants” just contributes to that American mentality that men who wear shorter shorts/form fitting stylish clothes are queer and “not masculine”… that’s incorrect. It’s sexy. He’s talking about double standards but at the same time perpetuating them 🤦‍♀️ funny dude though 😂

@@ninifeb14 I don't think wearing skinny jeans makes men look queer but I think it definitely makes them look less "manly". Like Kvon said, I don't think I'd trust a plumber wearing skinny jeans. I cant say I've ever seen a lumberjack or fireman or a oil rig worker wearing skinny jeans. I've certainly seen boyband members, tik tokers, and metrosexuals wear them though.

My favorite blind joke was when I was on a roller coaster and it launches you and it's over in like 5 seconds. We are getting off the ride, he is handed his cane and his family is walking with him. His friend goes "What did you think of the ride?" and he goes. "I did not see that coming." When I tell you me and my aunt almost passed out from laughing so hard it was so good.

@@sophisticatedserpent1512 that'd definitely depend on what type of girl yours is tbh. a lot of girls, as long as they're not hurt, would prefer if their partner laughs when they trip, given she's laughing too. otherwise, it's just outright embarrassing to fall and nobody's laughing.

As a Russian person, I found the last part so hilarious. Russians are always safe to make fun of, we love any reason to laugh, but especially if it's at ourselves, lol. It's nice to be in the spotlight, especially when you know it's not meant to be offensive, that's why the blind guy liked being included in the joke. Some jokes clearly come from a good place and aren't meant to be mean.

@@nicoleowens2318 I don't think you can go wrong with a Russian impression. Russia is huge and has all kinds of people and accents and cultural differences within itself. I pretty much think of Russia as of a big lively diy circus (diy because everything is old and is held up by patches, lol).

@@teresawilson3893 It's actually not my country. I'm from Moldova. Well, now I'm a US citizen, but we have a big Slavic community here in America: with Russians, Ukrainians, Belarusians, etc. To us the war seems crazy and we're all trying to be supportive and find ways to help because everyone has someone they care about in Ukraine and in Russia who are struggling now. It honestly sucks for people on both sides, because even the Russian soldiers don't have much choice in the matter, the army is obligatory and they're forced to fight in Ukraine where some of them might have friends or even family. It's really unfortunate for everyone because people that get hurt are really just normal people who want nothing to do with this war.
