Since he was 14 and enrolled into a preforming arts High school(Duke Ellington) just because he was told it would help him with standup….definitely born to do it type thing/ not fall into it type….public speaking is something that is still a great FEAR for people…. and some at 14 is already on their way to be a pro at it

What you need to understand is Dave took a loooooong hiatus from performing . It was 20 years between the last special you watched (killing them softly) and this one (the closer).

If you lived in South Central/South Western Ohio, you could see him work at any given time if you randomly went to a club anywhere in between Dayton and Cincinatti. Often time for 3-5 hour sets just trying stuff out. He left the spotlight, but never his craft.

@willvr4 2 жыл бұрын
@@maceomaceo11 Honestly that's pretty disrespectful to anyone else trying to get stage time, especially newcomers. I know a lot of comedians did that but it's pretty egotistical to even think it's okay to take up that much stage time.

They didn't do a good job of explaining this, but this was all throughout a comedy bit, he'd tell an OJ story, then do his comedy bits for 10 or 20 minutes, take a pause and say, "...so the NEXT time I met OJ Simpson..." And sprinkled them throughout his set. This is a compilation of all of those.
