I think Bill Burr really adds the needed “backup” to the main comedy as well. His presence just ties the whole skit into a nice little bow for me, personally.

@@k-master973 yeah maybe for younger burr fans(assuming ur like18) who only know this new famous version of Bill.. I saw this at 13 when it originally aired on comedy central and I barely noticed it was him until years later when I watched it again..not hating but bill burr sort of faded for me currently in terms of his comedy. Not sure if it has to due with his recent popularity or his new younger fans but he's just ehh to me lately

For anyone that doesn’t know RZA formed the Wu Tang Clan his cousin is GZA. Wu Tang were heavily influenced by old Chinese movies, even down to their name to the samples used in their songs, so it’s befitting for them to be accepted into the Chinese delegation.

Elian Gonzalez was sent back to Cuba after his mom died trying to escape with him. He made it to the U.S. and family, but was returned to his father (Fidel was involved) to much the consternation of the Cuban American community of Florida.

Yeah, ibthink the parents were divorced. The mother drowned at sea while taken the boy to Miami, but the boy survived and lived with family members (uncle etc) who defected much earlier. The father then petitioned to have the boy returned to him in Cuba, with Castros involvement.

If what you said was true, I'd be less irked by it. 1989-1996 is a way more acceptable range. 15 years is too large of a range.

In that same decade, White Chicks was released wherein two black people literally pretend to be white chicks in white face and nobody said a thing. Great stuff from Dave Chapelle!!! Elian Gonzalez fled Cuba with his mother and sadly she died during the trip. Upon arriving in the USA her extended family took Elian in and claimed he should remain in the States. Well Janet Reno, serving in Bill Clinton administration, didn't see it that way and we have the infamous photo of agents in tactical gear with weapons taking Elian from I think an Uncle to return him back to Cuba!

Elian Gonzalez was taken by his mother on a refugee boat to Miami. His father was still in Cuba and wanted his son back. The US military stormed the house where Elian was staying with family, found him hiding in a closet with a family member, took him, and returned him to Cuba. Was an enormous story at the time.

One of the best skits I've ever watched. It's one of my favourite Chappelle skits. Always makes me laugh. Edit: Elian Gonzalez was sent to the US from Cuba by his mother who ended up dying, I believe. Once he reached Florida shores, there was a battle between letting him stay in the US or sending him back to Cuba to his dad. The whole ordeal took awhile and I believe he was sent back to Cuba with his dad.

Also the reason why Elian Gonzalez was so well known was because of the legal battle about what to do with the child but also because of how they went about getting the child and sending him back. There was a famous photo of heavily armed federal agents storming the house Elian was in and taking him.

Elian got famous because he was taken from a home by agents with guns, and a pic surfaced of an agent with a AR pointed right at him (upon first discovering him in the closet). Bad timing - worse message. He became part of the zeitgeist for a bit.

You guys should watch a short version of the Elian Gonzales story since nobody had even heard about it besides Daz. I think Dave and Mike would be interested to hear the story cuz if you dont remember, that story ended up getting Really Crazy at a few different times. It was a long lasting fiasco covered in red tape and poor immigration laws. I think every U.S. citizen over 28 or 29 will remember this story. But I doubt we all remember every part of it.

I watched the first ever episode of Chappelle Show and was instantly hooked! The man is pure comic genius! You MUST watch the whole series! Dave Chappelle didn't win the Mark Twain award for nothing. He is a true ground breaking comedian!

Dave Chappelle is a genius. He does not give you the normal dont you hate when comedy. The depth of his sketches make you realize how distracted you are about how things happen. Psychological comedy he uses to improve our world where he can.

The older I get, the less I care about rap and hip hop....However, Wu-Tang will always be one of the greatest musical acts ever. Lyrical geniuses. Give them a listen! (I'm a metal head too)
