Dave Dameshek teases that he has named this year’s “Fruit of The Year.” This brings Adam to share a new idea that he thinks would innovate the pizza industry. Next, Deaf Frat Guy calls in for a round of JV or All Balls. Afterwards, Dameshek finally reveals his “Fruit of the Year.” Chris then shares some news stories on The Clippers new fan section in their upcoming arena and viral press conferences featuring Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ coach Todd Bowles and UFC fighter Sean Strickland.
Lastly, legendary TV writer and producer Ed Weinberger joins the program to regale stories about working on The Bill Cosby Show and The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. He talks about going to high school with Bill Cosby and what Johnny Carson was like off-camera.

Chicago is actually more known for thin crust, tavern style: ingredients inside, cheese on top, cut into squares. This is way more popular in Chicago than deep dish. In Chicago, tavern thin crust is #1, #2 is Stuffed pizza, not pan or deep dish. It's a different thing.

@39:20 I grew up on a farm. We had some trappers set some on our land and my dog got caught in one. He had to be put down because it had trapped his leg and he was too old to have it removed. That's broke my heart to this day. NO TRAPPING! It's inhumane and should be outlawed for animals unless in a cage that's checked regularly.

@57:20 Actually, apple trees are very smart about inbreeding, and you might plant a Fiji and get a Red Delicious. They have a smart system that does not allow for too many seasons of inbreeding to keep the species from becoming incapable of fighting pests.

Enough with the George Washington Carver misinformation, haha. I am from near where he was born, and I used to go play in George Washington Carver Park (was a nice park, haha), and there was a plaque there, and it was always about how he developed cultivation techniques to help peanuts be more economically productive for farmers, what have you. There was never a mention of peanut butter as an invention, and that was 40 years ago, lol.
