Dave has made abundantly clear how he feels about trump (“buffoon” is one thing of many I remember him saying), but despite his obvious disrespect, dt still tries to kiss up to him. That says something about trump’s integrity, I think. Or lack thereof.

Trump Tower is pure class. Looking as good as ever! The patina on the fence is a nice touch. I feel for you Dave. Graham's month was a disaster. It looks like his daughter helped him through it though. The Captain had to have that last red flag to get his guy the checkered flag. He owns the track and the series now after all. It would've been embarrassing to get beaten by Ganassi's Swedish guy two years in a row. It kind of reminds me of Helio's second win for Penske as a new IRL driver because of Penske's defection from CART when Paul Tracy won. It would've been really embarrassing for Tony George's IRL drivers to be beaten by CART drivers three years in a row.

It's nice that Barbara's daughter Mary fills in for her like this. Ever take the show to Illinois, you can use our yard. We have a gazebo. A tree fell on it, but it's still sort of good. Dave's welcome, too.

Here we go again! Mary, with a little extra pep, gave great support to her guest, on the road! I think Mary just turns the volume down on her broadcasting talents, but she's goooood! Barbara adds that bit of pepper, so after her mani/pedi, they'll have that magic trio back. Mary's attitude was like the sunshine today. Fast cars looked really good for those who understand them. Not me. (Trumpy invited them to a dump, but it really didn't matter. Makes us look forward to the next locale.)

An enjoyable conversation; Mary "..really kind of a story about never giving up.." Dave "..that's right, once you're in it, everybody's got a chance, when you get out of bed, and the second your feet hit the floor, you're in it, you got a chance, it doesn't make any difference.." Mary "..right.." Dave "..so that's racing.." Mary "..it's very optimistic..". I think what Dave and Mary have said is very inspirational and applies to life in general. 🙂

It's very fun! You 100% need earplugs though. It's very reasonably priced for a sporting event, and you can bring your own cooler with food and drinks and stuff. There are some crazy people that take it too far with the booze but if you're in a grandstand seat it's just pretty clean fun mostly.

@@bennyfactor cool. We have rodeos, horse racing, smash crash derby, tractor pulls and monster trucks. Only car races are done on the back roads, nothing on a racetrack. Dave just knows how to have fun.
