Dave Ramsey Baby Steps for Gold & Silver Stackers

Күн бұрынDave Ramesy's baby steps are a great way to get your finacial life on track. I know many people personally that have used his system to take control of thier finacial lives. Gold and silver investors benefit from his baby steps just as much as regular investors, even though Dave Ramsey looks down upon stacking gold and silver. The baby steps are:
1. Initial $1,000 Emergency Fund
2. Geting out of Debt (except home)
3. Full Emergency Fund 3-6 Months expences (Maybe additional bas of gold silver)
4. Invest 15% of your income to retirement accounts
5. Saving for Kids College and Schooling
6. Paying off Home Early
7. Giving back to worthy and noble causes
I find great value in these baby steps even though I disagree with a few of the principles preached. The important thing is to take control of your finances and not let them rule over your life.

I consider my stack a partial subsidiary to my emergency fund. It wouldn’t be the first thing I liquidate, but certainly can be an option.

Lastly, identifying value is imperative to curb overspending. Oftentimes the alternative or generic commodity is 50% the price of its pinnacle counterpart. All the while being 90% as efficient or effective.

My biggest money saving tip is living within your means. A kin to my biggest weight loss tip. It’s easier to save if you don’t overspend. It’s easier to lose weight if you don’t overeat.

I like your point of view, I’ve always struggled saving cash and keeping it but I’ve never had a problem stacking.

It’s funny how stacking can scratch that spending itch, then once you have gold or silver you will work even harder not to try and sell it!
