Key concept is correlation. Over the past 50 years the 1-year correlations between stock market indices, government bonds and gold are about 0. Interestingly, if you look at 5-8 year time frames, the correlation between stocks and bonds becomes positive and the correlation between stocks and bonds on the one hand and gold on the other become negative. I wonder if Dave Ramsey is taking baby steps on stocking gold & silver? 🤣 He (the last video I watched) believes keeping $ in the bank & everyone’s 401k etc is going to be fine. NOT. The only thing I agree with him on is cutting back on your spending & keeping a budget. I don’t agree with a lot of other things he says. I also believe our dollar is going to crash sooner than later. Ps. You never own your home because they nail you on taxes. If you can’t/don’t pay your taxes they take your home. And they continue to raise taxes so we can now pay for the illegals! We’re all slaves & have been for years.

Good advise. Don't forget there are a lot of gold and silver stocks to consider as well besides general stock markets.

Lastly, identifying value is imperative to curb overspending. Oftentimes the alternative or generic commodity is 50% the price of its pinnacle counterpart. All the while being 90% as efficient or effective.

My biggest money saving tip is living within your means. A kin to my biggest weight loss tip. It’s easier to save if you don’t overspend. It’s easier to lose weight if you don’t overeat.

I consider my stack a partial subsidiary to my emergency fund. It wouldn’t be the first thing I liquidate, but certainly can be an option.

I like your point of view, I’ve always struggled saving cash and keeping it but I’ve never had a problem stacking.

I like picking stocks. The only trouble I have ran into is when I messed with options. Options feel like ultra high premium silver to me. Personally, I would suggest avoiding them.

I have a question for you Timmy. Let’s say you purchased a large hoard of coins. If you resell the coins in large quantities, they would sell fast, but if you sell them individually you would return more. Assuming the rate of replacement is unknown, what is the best sells strategy?

You made some great suggestions on cutting back. Frugality has no shame. Vending machines, convenient stores, bars, and processed foods can be avoided with little effort. Learn the difference between credit card due dates and closing dates. Everyone has different priorities, so find a happy medium.

I consider my PMs as a hedge, backed up by long term food/water, security, real estate, and annuities/dividend stocks. Fractional gold is part of my stacking strategy. I consider silver as fractional gold if SHTF. I like your stacking ideas.

I can see me spending fractional gold and silver easily anywhere I can't see me spending crypto just anywhere mostly because of the time but partially because I have no idea who would offer that sort of service. Right like I don't see me spending Bitcoin for Walmart and I should it's 2024. I just found bit refill where you can pay like Verizon phone bill or Walmart Amazon cards. Burger King... Everything.

All same as silver except it is expensive.
