Dave has an issue with the production of the song, but likes the song and Slade. Or does he think he likes Slade because he keeps confusing them for another British band?
Dave thinks Noddy should have played Dr. Who and I think there's still time to save that series if they sign Noddy now.

Glad Dave liked the track even though there isn't a video of them playing live I thought I'd send it to you as a lot of people won't have heard it. Old New Borrowed and Blue wasn't a compilation album it was only their third studio album release (not including Beginnings when they were known as Ambrose Slade) Don't blame me was the 'B' side to Merry Christmas Everybody which wasn't on any studio album. I love Noddy's vocals on it as it shows he had one of the best rock voices ever.🎸🎸🎸🎸

Absolutely love Slade. Criminally underrated despite how many records they’ve sold. A great song by them is How Does It Feel

Slade are so underrated and forgotten about these days, they are in my top 10 all time bands. Noddy holder is a great singer and songwriter and for those who don't know, he is also a very talented actor.

I was a kid when this band was prominent. Out of all the haircuts I saw young people copy from rock stars, Dave Hill's fringe was not one of them.

My 2 favorite British bands - The Sweet and Slade! They are actually similar in sound and creativity. Completely dig them both. Here’s a brand new one from one of my favorite prog bands, Leprous. Not a fan of the vocals on this. Too shouty for me. The music part was good. Here's a band that sounds just like prime eighties metal, great twin guitar harmonies, and an unexpectedly groovy guitar solo (actually a couple of them) and impressively crisp sounding drums that Dave should appreciate.
