Hi Dave How nice to see your uke collection including my hand built effort. I believe you paid me £60 for it back in '87. It was in fact the first soprano i made. I still build to order down in sunny Lyme Regis -price has gone up a tad but still jolly good value! Pluck on!

Great stuff, Dave. You really should write a book about your musical travels. I'm sure it would be a great read! Also, hopefully looking forward to a play along! It has to include Silver Machine :-)

These My Ukulele show and tell are just lovely. They show both the development of the instrument and the growth in quality of sound that professionals both want demand and give to the listeners.. You also see some of the individuals that make up the wonderful group. The smile from us must make you all happy you keep us going and listening Amacf

Hallo Dave, thank you for cheering us up! Speaking of missing puddings, this may be the first time on earth a Swedish ukulele has been referred to as a pudding. Loved the whole video, loved meeting your traveling companions, and hoping perhaps you might play us a little tune on the last one, and tell us another story? Not sure of the proper address for sending sweeties, so sending them to a food bank here in New York instead. :-)

I have no musical knowledge at all, (Shakespeare's my bag) but I love the Ukes and what you do. Hi Dave, did you know that the voice of Jiminy Cricket was Cliff Edwards better known as "Ukulele Ike"? My dad would sign little song and such to my Mon and play his Ukulele. I played drums in my younger days (i'm 76) kind of with I had taken the up the Ukulele.

Yes - we did know that, in fact we sometimes reference it in one of the songs! And it's never too late to take up the ukulele.

Oh, I gave my drums to a Jr. High School a couple of years ago as a gift .kind of wish I still had them. Good to meet you in Yeovil after the show a few years ago. Pluck on!! I was inspired to take up the uke by Ivor Biggun (Doc Cox) and ended up performing on a couple of his albums. Look out for 'The Charabanc Trip' the greatest monologue of all time. (I'm biased)
