The Journey started here... I once lived in the fast lane of life, happily married of 26 years, with two children. That chapter was suddenly shattered by the sudden loss of my wife to cancer, which led me in to depression and homelessness. Waking up in hospital, after attempting to take my own life, with just a suitcase, kayak and bicycle and no money, I've managed to rise up out of the darkness and find happiness and continue my next chapter.
I'm a self taught film maker, and creating these vlogs, it gives me something to do, share my personal experiences as I continue my journey cruising and living life on the canal. Please do consider supporting my channel below... Thank you Dave

Great topic, and i couldnt agree more! There's a saying I posted on my wall that goes " do the action, and the feeling will follow" .. meaning: don't wait to be ready, or in the mood etc.. take that step and you'll be glad you did..you also mention about watching your thoughts too, another great point. Eckhart Tolle mentions this as bring " the watcher of your mind and thoughts" .. great talk dave!

Yes so very true fear can stop you doing just the simple pleasures like going outside and doing something so very different, but you Dave you have this energy that keeps you on an even keel 👍

Hello Dave ☺. Thank you for your little chat this morning, it was just what I needed to hear. As I've mentioned before, I lost my beloved husband Terry back in December, and I'm very up and down. Just yesterday I came to realise that I was suddenly living in fear of everything, something that hasn't been with me before! I have recently started to get out again into nature. Walking, bird watching etc, so hopefully that will help me, but I miss him everyday ... Sending love, light and springtime blessings ⚘🥀🌷xx

Thank you, Dave. I'm caretaking for a granddaughter with severe autism & am in constant fight or flight mode because of the unpredictability. Living in the moment is not only a quality of life issue but for me has become a survival issue. Your words have helped me.

Thank you Dave for your words and insight. Have you heard of Eckhart Tolle? We have read all his books and watch his videos. Eckhart always says live in the moment because that is all that is. No future or past. ❤

I am an oldie now and when I look back to the many lives I experienced different cultures and challenges I can only smile life was good to me and I know it was me making my life a happy one enjoying the good things around me of course the sun isn't shining always but that are moments everything you can change yourself .Thanks for your Dave talk 🙏🙏🙏
