On this episode.. Beautiful misty morning Autumn scenes. I head off to the coast and beach for some sea waves of energy on my birthday. Bridlington, my childhood play ground. The bird feeder is getting well used by the birds and I'm running low on seeds and fat balls. Meet the most colourful bird down on the canal 'The Kingfisher' as I kayak down the waterway. Me and Jazz visit PaoloC, who does the music for my channel, we join him in his recording studio near Manchester. And finally, here it is, after many requests, a look inside my narrowboat, 'BOAT TOUR' fly through. Join me for some peaceful moments in nature.
The Journey started here... I once lived in the fast lane of life, happily married of 26 years, with two children. That chapter was suddenly shattered by the sudden loss of my wife to cancer, which led me in to depression and homelessness. Waking up in hospital, after attempting to take my own life, with just a suitcase, kayak and bicycle and no money, I've managed to rise up out of the darkness and find happiness and continue my next chapter.
I'm a self taught film maker, and creating these vlogs, it gives me something to do, share my personal experiences as I continue my journey cruising and living life on the canal. Please do consider supporting my channel below... Thank you Dave

Wow. OK. This is spectacular. Also, this is precisely what I have been searching for, but through a different method. This is the closest media I can find to Chris Yates and traditional British fishing media. The slow paced, nature, lifestyle based content no longer exists. Also the coupling of nature with music also no longer seems fashionable. I'd summarise these videos as halcyon, timeless and border line euphoric. I havn't had this 'buzz' since I watched 'a passion for angling' with Chris Yates (which I would highly recommend, if you are not aware!). I'm now hooked, and will be making my way through all of your videos. I'm a lecturer in Geography (Geology) and am planning my espace onto a narrow boat as we speak. If your ever on the Brecon canal, let me know! I'll get the logs in, and can show you some spectacular wildlife.

It's lovely too see some familiar birds on "the other side of the pond". Here, in New Hampshire, USA, we have kingfishers and mallards 🦆which I have seen in your videos. Likewise, there are birds that you have that we haven't here, though they seem to be cousins of ours. 🥰

I love the high overcast of Autumn. It has a special feeling to it and isn't gloomy in the least. The only downside, in the past year, is that we are now living completely off-grid and overcast days ☁ don't make for good solar collection. 🍁🍂 🌥

I'm just happy with my cassette toilet. Compost ones you still have to travel to dipose under the Canal river trust rules.
