tension centred round the pain in my chest times i spent lying in my room i tried pretending i'm dead then i wrote about the scars until the pen lines bled getting better from the words it's like my therapist said but i know from where i've been, if you talk about your struggles that's a cry upon some deaf ears nobody cares bout your life unless it's better for theirs i couldn't face what i was dealing with i'd hide from the tears but lying to yourself becomes a cycle of fear so i got stronger from the cycle, i've been liking the gear but now it's giving me a heart attack done with all the crying i just wanna get the laughter back state of mind's grief, i've been through 50 but the stars are black i see pain like i'm living where the harbours at scars that i ain't healing, hearts broke i got the shards to match a class act, but i ain't joking when theres lessons i've been writing lines like i'm doing bart for the raps i learned a little from a lot, but learned a lot from the real gifted with the words but worked a lot for the skill burdened with my mental i've been searching for peace - s (pieces) had a dream it's just my night times sleepless jesus, keep the peace, i need freedom
