Great Review. If there was one thing I would add, it's that the speakers on the front mean that it's really easy to muffle the noise if you're working on a bed or have it smooshed on your chest. It's inconvenient but it doesn't bug me too much.

So i am writing this review on the 7577. I've had it for about 3 weeks and I love this laptop. It holds up in demanding gaming and manages to stay really cool. the fans are a little loud but nothing obnoxious. It has a nice keyboard, wish the backlighting was a little brighter but it'll do. I can boot up this pc, login in and open whatever program i want in less than 25 seconds. It has a decent display, nothing to write home about but for the average gamer I cannot find anything to complain about. overall you get the biggest bang for your buck, very customizable and a solid gaming laptop.

Acer Helios 300 or Dell Inspiron 7577?

Finally got this laptop. First impression was just how durable and strong the build materials were. This does NOT look and feel like a $1000 laptop, it exceeds it. Kudos to Dell. The performance is what you expect from a GTX 1060. Games like Overwatch can run smoothly at 60FPS on Epic settings, and heavier games like Watch Dogs 2 can run at around 50-60FPS at Very High Settings. Morever, the temperature reaches only at around 60-65 (sometimes 70) in almost all games, which is crazy. Overall, I say that the Nvidia has done an amazing job designing Max-Q. Although, in my case, the laptop's fans run disturbingly loud, which is strange given that Max-Q should've run quieter. Maybe it's just mine though, and I'm sure a software update can easily fix this. The screen is pretty decent, although I must say that the colors look washed out (mine looks a bit blue). It isn't teribble per se, but the screen is definitely on the lower end among the gaming laptops. Oh, and it doesn't get very bright, at all. My 2 year old Acer V15 Nitro has a way better screen and brightness. The maximum brightness on this Dell Laptop is equal to 1/2 of the maximum brightness on my Acer laptop (yes, you read that right). Keyboard is a bit mushy, but it's okay as it is still comfortable and responsive to use. The trackpad, however, I just FREAKIN LOVE the trackpad. I don't know why, but I feel like the trackpad is amazing. I don't think it is glass, but it sure is smooth and tactile. The speaker however, they fucking sucks. Like, seriously. Even my Yoga 710 speakers sounds MILESSSS better than this laptop. Bass is basically non-existent. Just get a speaker or use a headphone. This aspect of the laptop is what I hate the most. I just wish Dell had built in a sub-woofer inside this baby. Overall, I fucking love this laptop. I got mine for around $1200 CAD + VR, which is dirt-fucking-cheap. I rate this beast a 9/10.

The CPU tends to overheat very quickly and the thermal paste has to be replaced quite often. I've had it for about 2 years and I had to change it three times.

I am using this laptop since two years. The hinge holds up good. The battery is near its life end. Need to replace it maybe by next year. I only play FIFA and have had no troubles so far. I still hope to keep this laptop up and running for at least next two years.
